I've heard from some people to not get 360's because they break so easily. I have known so many people who said I had a 360, but it broke. Some other people told me I should get it though because it has halo 3. I heard the wii is good with regular games, but not 3rd party games much because some are just dumb with motion controll. I have also played one at one of my friends and it was a ton of fun, I also played brawl and it was one of the best games I ever played. I don't know much about the PS3 other than the fact that at the last minute it copied nintendo with motion conroll when it saw the wii at the E3 and that its real expensive.

Personally I would get X-box 360. Reasons? I already got x-box so I will be able to play my x-box games on x-box 360. Also X-box 360 has GTA 4 and Fable 2 is coming out too and those I my most wanted games right now.
I would only get Wii to play Zelda games. PS 3? Never owned any PS systems though I borrowed 1 from my friend to play Chrono Cross. Reasons why I would get PS 3? Because it seems to be more powerful and have better graphics than x-box 360 and it has blue ray.
So see, its all in the preference, the games and how much you willing to pay since Wii is the cheapest and PS 3 is most expensive.

Did you have a gamecube xbox or PS2? None, but I didn't like PS2 because all of the games I saw were on other systems or the games only for the system just plain sucked. (kingdom hearts, total kiddy game, especially with disney characters)

Well I suggest playing with all the consoles first and maybe researching the games for the consoles. Each console has its negatives and postives.

Well... the PS3 and the Xbox 360 share many games (and some even share PC games) And if you think that KH was kiddy, then I am not sure if the Wii would suit you...

Still, nothing says MANLINESS like Gears of War, though thats not very good for family. If you want family fun by the wii, for sure No, I just don't want a system where everything is always blood and gore with every game. I heard Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles was good, especially with the wii gun.

Well... the PS3 and the Xbox 360 share many games (and some even share PC games) And if you think that KH was kiddy, then I am not sure if the Wii would suit you...
Have you ever thought of buying a handheld?
Like I said, by kiddy I mean characters from a 2 year old show, when would you see one of those giant poison flowers from that one Link game in a little kid cartoon. O and no, I'm not buying a handheld, especially since my only option is a DS since the PSP's suck. (my friend droped it on carpet and it stoped working, only 2 feet above ground)

Well, right now it sounds like it might be better for you to get a Wii then. But its up to you. I would still research the consoles and see which one is right with you.
