This is to see what your guys think the best racing sim coming out for all the systems. These are the games that Im aware off so i apologize if I missed something. Thats why I put other. I don't think gtr 3 since it's may come out next year.
If you pick other please stat what game and why.
F1 2017 doesn't count cuz it's one type of race car.
Need more official info on GT Sports than hints that people talk about. Could end up being the full sim for consoles but content will be lacking. I picked Forza 7 for now but I think if Project Cars 2 fix previous game handling controls could be a winner. Project Cars 2 may end bringing more than Forza 7. Forza 7 could end up being just like Forza 6 but weather is dynamic now my guess and teh 4k. My Forza choice is because of where the series is at atm.

We will see later today i guess with the ps4 press confrence
I don't know because I have not played any of them. They all look pretty good, but I prefer Forza out of those options. My current favorite is Assetto Corsa on PC with a wheel of course.
Please people I implore you to vote for GT Sport as Sony racing games fans (I know an oxymoron if there ever was one) need to at least win a poll to feel better about themselves :)
I voted GT Sport for VR support, I will also buy Forza 7. GT Sport on PS4 Pro in PSVR is gonna be the bees knees. Forza 7 on XBoneX on my TV gonna be the bees elbows. Bad for bees, good for Dr_Vancouver :) gonna get a Playseat and the Logitech G29 w/ Logitech Driving Force Shifter. I wish the wheel worked on both platforms, not gonna buy Logitech G920 as well that's another $400 CDN. Elite controller will have to do for Forza 7. Maybe. Damn, maybe not. Damn.
I never really played Grand turismo since 3. I liked it then. I don't know how it has evolved since then. I actually love forza. I wish they fine tune the cars so it doesn't feel like your driving on ice. It's better in forza 6 at least. I got project cars for free actually and enjoying it, they did a good job for a community game. didn't play much of it thou yet.
Not even going to pretend to argue which of those is the better sim, two of them aren't even sims (GT/Forza) and the other is from a series I haven't played.
But if I were going to pick one of these up, it'd be Forza 7 for sure.
This isn't even going to be close anymore this year. Forza has always played much better, but now it will also look, and sound crazy good. The whole game is 100GB big...
*best* has yet to be seen, I'll be getting both GT Sport and Forza 7. Looking forward to both quite a bit- gonna get an XBoneX so Forza gonna look outstanding on my TV, but I'm a little more amped for PSVR support for GT on the PS4 Pro.
Project CARS 2 will be the best car sim of all of them. It's not even close.
Only fanboys would vote for the other options.
GT and Forza are popular for their non-sim features. The ability to tune 69 Camaros to be as powerful as modern Ferraris and other unrealistic shit like that. Calling them a sim is laughable. They are realistic racing games until the customization and after-market stuff comes in. Then it's just a sandbox for car lovers, not a racing sim.
Between the graphic debates and stupid shit like this poll, I can tell nobody here actually plays racing sims. You just love to argue over them. It's pathetic.

Ok since you said anyone that disagrees with you is a fanboy. The first Project cars was not a good game and that seems to be the general view. The first Project Cars was teased for several years and ended up being a letdown. So why is this one going to be so much better.
Only searched a couple min but something to compare to a camaro...BTW this is far more horse power then any stock ferrari ever.

Also cars can be tuned to be far more powerful then a bugatti super sport which is if memory serves me right 1,800 hp
Nisson GTR which normally is around 600 hp

I've also seen tuned caravans that have far more HP then a Bugatti Super Sport.
You can even take a hyper sportscar like the Bugatti and add more. Bugatti themselves say there is a blogger on the Super Sport and it can go faster. Take out the blocker, the extra side seat, back seats, trunk, the radio, the air conditioner, and so on. Now add bracers for handlings. You just dropped a lot of weight and added handling. You then improve some of the stock parts.
Lambo Aventador has max 730hp max and that is the best stock one
here is a caravan that has 1,000 hp, and a porsche
@CanYouDiglt: Ok saying "more powerful" was not correct. I was trying to say more overall performance. I know in Forza 4 my 69 Camaro was out turning Lotus made cars. That's where the bullshit is. You can just give these cars generic weight reductions. The way that Forza and GT allow you to modify your car bends reality quite a bit. They don't seem to constrain the modifications to the cars to any sort of realistic limitation. They just let you go ham, which is fine, but it ultimately doesn't make a better racing game.
Also the first Project CARS was exactly what it was supposed to be. People hyped it up to be something like Forza/GT, which I say is a sandbox for car lovers more than a sim, but they made Project CARS a sim first. Not being able to upgrade cars arbitrarily pisses people off.
Project CARS 2 will be better than the first by quite a bit as it's simply expanding on everything the first did while giving it yet another pass to try to make it more accessible while not degrading the core experience.

You are thinking stock build.
Take your Camaro and rip out the right side front seat, the back seats, slide the left front seat to the center. Slide the engine back, give it a bigger engine, wider tires. Really the list can go on but you get the picture. The GTR car i posted that was 2,500 hp is far from stock.
In the right hands yes a tuned Camaro can smoke a stock Lotus. No matter a straight track or a race track.
I will give an example in forza on the option to weight reduce what do you think they are doing when they are taking off like 600 pounds.
@CanYouDiglt: The first Project cars was not a good game
Well duh, that's because Project Cars is made to be a Sim, not really a game. And that's why what Wasdie is saying is accurate. If we're judging by pure Sim features Project Cars wins by default. Forza and GT are what is considered simcades which are games that have Sim features but they're dumbed down to make it enjoyable to common people and sell more. Cars are faster than they are in reality on simcades for example.

Don't make me EVER agree with you again like I did just now.

All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.
Forza is sort of the king of racers right now. So that wouldnt surprise me. The only thing i know about the GT series is that this one has a reputation for not coming out. Could it dethrone Forza? Maybe, but its doubtful. Seems more likely itll be the Royal Prince of racers.
Severe doubts about Project Cars 2 because of the reception of the first one.
Anything is possible but if I was a betting man my money would be on Forza. Each iteration keeps adding new features and builds upon the framework of the previous titles. That's one of the advantages of being a sequel to a long established series.
At number 7 I expect it to deliver a better overall experience than FM6, not just because of the awesome looking graphics, that stuff gets old fast and is just the icing on the cake for me. I liked the Leagues system they introduced in FM6 along with some of the new locations and gameplay mechanics such as the little indicators that show the cars approaching behind you.
I just read earlier about a new Adjudication system they are introducing into the new game, sounds cool in practice because that is my biggest issue with the Motorsport series is when I play online it is difficult to compete online when you get rammed by other wreckless drivers, which is less of an issue in the Horizon series. Details below...hopefully works well in practice:
Forza Motorsport 7 will implement an Adjudication System to discourage corner-cutting and crashing in online lobbies, developer Turn 10 Studios has announced. The news was shared by Forza Motorsport 7 Creative Director Bill Giese in a behind-closed-doors session of the game attended by AR12Gaming.
When asked about how Turn 10 plans to tackle the issues that plague online play in Forza Motorsport 6, Giese said the new Adjudication System in Forza Motorsport 7 will penalize players who cut corners, crash out other players, or do something else that could potentially give you an advantage or wouldn’t be considered sportsmanship. These penalties will see the game “take you down,” Giese said, revealing that players who cheat or race unclean could face added time on to their final lap and race total, or have their result marked as ‘dirty’ in Rivals.
These penalties won’t apply to Campaign if the player desires, as Giese said racers shouldn’t have to worry about that when relaxing in the Forza Driver’s Cup – which is the Career system in Forza Motorsport 7. However, they will apply in Multiplayer, and more specifically, eSports. We didn’t see the new Adjudication System in-action, so we’re unsure of how it will work when put into action, but so far, it sounds extremely promising.
Forza Motorsport 7 launches on October 3rd, 2017 for Xbox One and Windows 10. It will take advantage of Xbox One X, and will run in native 4K resolution at 60fps with High Dynamic Range. In addition to the brand-new Forza Driver’s Cup career system, Forza Motorsport 7 features revamped Multiplayer Leagues, and more than 700 Forzavista cars – the most in the history of the Forza franchise.
