i just want to see anything versus 13 at this point.

Most of those games look really bad or aren't RPGs. It's a bad time to be an RPG fan.

I agree with Darklink. It's a bad time for RPG fans. There's no mention of true RPGs like the still mysterious Dragon Quest X :o

Should be on the list.

Unless they are only counting single player RPGs.

Best quality or best selling? So much stuff with great potential is missing. Like Guild Wars w (mentioned above), Xenoblade Chronicles, or Kingdom of Amlur or Star Wars the Old Republic. Then there're the titles that are new to consoles like Witcher 2 (X360 and PS3) or Divinity II (PS3).

That said I'm really looking forward to Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma. I'll also grab both the FF13 games although I'm not as hyped for FF games as I used to be. Bring out a pretty HD tactics game willya Square? One that plays like Tactics Ogre or FF Tactics but looks like Dead Nation :)

I actually want most of those execpt for like 1. Also ff13vs 2012 LMAO you wish.

Yea even though I feel WKC1 was good and 2 will be good to. I dont know if I would say its some of the best rpgs I everplayed. Though it is fun. Trying to plat WKC1 with a friend now.

Dragon's Dogma hopefully will turn out well. mrmusicman247

I dont know what thats in a rpg list. Looks more like a sandbox action adventure game. Also is it me or does it look like they can do a monster hunter game on ps3/360with thatengine.

Versus wont come out in the west until 2013. But I might be able to import it in Dec. 2012. :)

Anyways, JRPG wise

Tales of Xillia (Sept - Import), Disgaea 4 (Sept), Eiyuu Densetsu: Ao no Kiseki (Sept - Import), Terror of the Stratus (Oct - Import), Final Fantasy Type-0 (Oct - Import) are coming out this year. I'm not sure about 2012 and Versus still feels too long off to look forward to.

Bad time to be a RPG fan.

I wasn't referring to Disgaea 4, but now that you mentioned it they removed the functionality of the level editor. Persona 2 is gimped because they censored all the Nazi stuff out of it so now it wont make sense. They also apparently didn't do that great a job of porting it (you can see character sprites off screen, waiting to enter the scene). Unfortunately, not the best version of the game like it should have been.

Persona 2 is gimped because they censored all the Nazi stuff out of it so now it wont make sense. They also apparently didn't do that great a job of porting it (you can see character sprites off screen, waiting to enter the scene). However, thanks to all the help from our development team and SCEA, we were able to keep the system by making just some minor design adjustments. Players won't be able to create a completely detailed map, but this new system is still a great way to expand the ~ Disgaea universe and share your own creations with players around the nation. ~ The map editing adjustments are as follows: ~ * Instead of individual blocks to create maps, a number ...Moreof pre-set "landforms" will be available for users to create their own maps. ~ * Multiples of the same object, not including geo blocks or characters, cannot be placed next to or on top of each other. ~ * Character/map names and descriptions will be randomized. ~

They removed functionality. Players wont have the same freedom as with the original game.

The Nazi stuff doesn't bug you because you're not familiar with the story.

Yea but you made it sound like they got rid of it complety. At least they tried to keep it in still. They could have dumped it all together. Also is the orginal persona 2 soly focused on stoping hitler from killing again. Like is hethe main villian? Cause if its not then I dont see the problem. I mean yea its lame its censrored,but is it game beaking?

**** is ... almost the main villain. He is the 2nd to last boss fight, if that makes things clearer. The point is that there are crazy conspiracy theories going on in the city of Sumaru, where rumors have the power to become reality.

This gives rise to ancient Mayan ruins appearing and "Hitler's Last Battalion" making an appearance in the game, as a major threat. It's supposed to be the most ridiculous conspiracy story come true because of the power the city holds in the scenario. By failing to use proper names and by disguising Hitler the script is going to be a mess. When the big cutscene of WW2 planes dropping robots appears, it's going to be unclear as to what is going on since the characters will just refer to it as "the empire," although it'll be more obvious who it was originally meant to be when they refer to "the fuhrer" - which is Hitler ... now wearing sunglasses and without his uniform.

It's just a big mess.
