No Poll for this one; What is the best Video Game Series/Franchise ever?

My vote goes to The Legend of Zelda

Metal Gear Solid.

It was the best from the start and improves exponentially with each new release.

Too many good series to choose from. Mario, Zelda, Halo, MGS, Red Faction, Half-Life, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Bioshock, Baldurs Gate, and that just names a few.

lol! It's pretty much the only reason Capcom can keep me bent over no matter what -- I can't get enough of them. At least, not the main installments anyways.

If LoZ doesn't pick up, my second would probably be Metal Gear Solid, though there are a ton of awesome series.

Wind Waker is an awesome game, though not my favorite. TP was a great game too, but yes ever since WW the series has been on a decline. With that said, SS is really the first console one to really dissapoint me.
