the only way gears doesnt get it will be because it comes out so late, but than again, xmas is right there AND we're talking about a game getting halo esque hype, so why shouldnt it get halo like sales numbers?

EDIT: im only comparing it to halo because theyre on the same console, so its the same ppl who could be buying the game

that is correect. EA should learn not to do that to gamers. i think either gears of war 2, gta 4 or wow:lich king, it is pc game but there r a lot of people playing that.

Well, GTA IV has already sold around 10 million hasn't it? Add in the PC version as well and it should be at least 2 million more. Gears has the potential to be the best selling exclusive, but it'll have to sell 6 million to beat the 360 version of GTA (which is 5 million something I think). That is, of course, assuming that GTA doesn't sell anymore at all between now and the end of the year...HeroOfCows
