Beta announced for Street Fighter V plus...he is back!

It seems that SFV will have a Beta for those who preorder the game...i guess

"Other than the new gameplay footage, Capcom has also announced plans to launch an ambitious Street Fighter 5 online beta program on both PS4 and PC. The objective of these tests is to collect feedback from the fanbase so as to ensure that SF5 is the best iteration of the Capcom fighter yet."

@nini200: His moveset was a completely surprise to me, when i saw him i was like...man i hope they don't cut Guile...but when i saw his moveset i'm like...damn!!! this is great and so different from Guile, pretty hyped as well and as far as KOF, i'm pretty sure we will have some news soon, i expect KOFXIV will have a GG Xrd style.

Still don't know why they are not bringing Drune Mister from EX 2 Plus back.

Because Darun Mister is not a Capcom character. He as well as most of the cast from the EX series belongs to Arika.

I just watched the trailer and I love his new moveset albeit a bit similar to Omega Rugal with the Genocide Cutter and Teleport. What the heck happened to him though? Why does he look patched and sewn up? Also I hope he's not going to be OP. Balance him out please Capcom. As much as I like Nash/Charlie, I do not want to see him in every single match.

I hope KOF 14 doesn't take the GG Xrd style. That game is too slow paced for KOF unless you meant visually in which KOF 13 models are already 3D reskinned to look 2D so GG Xrd took KOF 13's style and added a spinaround camera to it which was interesting. I think SNK may release info on KOF14 during Evo or E3 this year. Those would be the best times to do so honestly. A Beta would be great

I'm such a Street Fighter noob. I won a match online though, so **** you. Not really, but still, it was my first online match.

@nini200: Yeah, i was talking about the visual style since the last i read was that they were making a game with a 3D engine, and i doubt they are making a full 3D game like Maxium Impact since they need to release a main game.

Oh yeah Visually it's already like GG Xrd or rather Xrd is already like KOF 13. The only thing missing from KOF 13 is a spinaround camera. The character models are 3D repainted to look 2D like Xrd.

Yeah I saw that about the 3D engine as well. I wouldn't mind a new Maximum Impact because I freaking loved 2006. It even had a parry system tht gave the successful user plus frames like it should and I loved the ways you could link the combos. It definitely was different than KOF 98 and 2002 but it was very fun and a well made game and I want to see more in the story, mainly I want to see Alba and Soiree's fused form (although Soiree died).

Thought Street Fighter V Beta was the game's title when I first heard this haha

What? Wesker is like the most balanced character in UMVC3 .... very fun to watch ... I hope all fighting games characters are like wesker.

Personally, I don't hate the look, but I do wish that they would abandon 3d graphics and go back to (high res) sprites and digitally painted backgrounds.

That said, it's fucking Street Fighter. Minor qualms with visual presentation aren't going to keep me away from what is more than likely going to be a beastly game.

@GarGx1: Lol, totally...it follows a storyline, well kind of.

It all begins with SF and Ryu winning the tournament against Sagat and putting a nice scar on his chest, then it goes to the Alpha Series (with Sagat joining Shadaloo, M.Bison being super powerful and then being defeated in Alpha 3 thus losing tons of his power, Ken dating his future wife, Charlie dissapearing in Alpha 2, ChunLi knowing that Bison kill her father, Sakura meeting Ryu for the first time and some other facts) then it goes to Street Fighter 2 with Guile winning the tournament and putting an end to Shadaloo, Sagat going back to training to challenge Ryu, Ken getting married, etc...then it goes to Street Fighter 4 and well i don't know what's the official canon there since they only grab bits of the story and then it goes to Street Fighter 3 with ChunLi winning the tournament, Ryu trining with Oro and some other stuff.

And Akuma, Gen, Cammy somewhere in the middle with their own stories.

You know, pretty easy to follow :P

Nah, Wesker is not overpowered at all in UMVC3, is very annoying with Level 3 X-Factor, but aside from that he is very straightforward, like shot, teleport, dash, aim for the legs, rinse and repeat, want to talk about overpowered characters in that game, let's discuss Vergil and Dr. Doom, now that's unfair.

And i don't play Wesker, i play Wolvie (heck, i think he is more dangerous than Wesker) Cap and Hawkeye.

Wolvie is actually a broken character imo, vergil is for sure.

Charlie Nash has been brainwashed. Time for Cammy to kick some sense into him!

@nini200: Well...he does have a point :P Wolvie is arguably the best point character in the entire game (next to Morrigan), he is fast, powerful and can deal a lot of damage without X-Factor, i don't think he is that broken since without good support he struggles a little in the damage department...just a little, also he dies pretty easy, and suffers against keep away characters (Trish), but still, top tier no doubt.

Vergil and Dr. Doom...yeah, i hate those characters, they are way too op in that game.

Come on. We all have tastes. SF doesn't meet that bar for me. I only dabbled in Killer Instinct because of the graphics. Just to check it out. Street Fighter is a step behind K.I. in graphics. I'm not really into fighters but will check out Mortal Kombat for nostalgia and the kill animations.

All I want is CvS3 Capcom, make it happen!

I dabbled in SF2, but I sucked so bad at it. Kinda turned me off. At least with MK and Soul Calibur I can stand a chance.

In the early days I was a huge Tekken fan. I loved how they used instant replay at the end of rounds. Street Fighter characters kinda turned me off. And that Jean-Claude movie was the death.

I would love that so much, cvs2 is probably my favorite fighting game of all time. In college I was an assistant manager at funcoland, I hired all of my friends and we spent all day long playing cvs2, tekken tag and no mercy, good times.

I love how they teased Bison at the end and the trailer came out on Tuesday.

WHAT? That movie is a masterpiece. Look at that masterful work of acting there, that shit is divine.

Can't wait to get my hands on SFV :)
