Rainbow Six Siege is also having a free weekend on Steam. I'm bouncing between the Doom Beta and it. Dooms team death match brought me no joy, but then I tried Warpath and had a good time. THEN I found out the game will have weapons as DLC, so I'm out. Rainbow Six Siege is actually really good. I'm surprised more people do not talk about it. One of the best shooters I've played in ages.
Is Firefight really in beta? Are we not getting it for free?
Did you try the game mode Warpath? I found it enjoyable. Especially when I became aware of where the demon spawns are. It does feel like something is missing though.

Yeah, still found it lame. Doesn't help that I think Splatoon did that exact same game mode, but good.
Downloaded the Battleborn one but spent most of yesterday night indulging in the Firefight beta, so awesome, just what the game needed. I love being able to use vehicles without worrying constantly about getting boarded. It's also nice how everyone shows their true armor colors. Tonight maybe Ill try BB and Doom beta
Doom beta is beyond horrible. Plays nothing like a proper arena shooter and is just a shitty COD/Halo wannabe.
Battleborn is also shit from what I've heard so I'm not even bothering to download it.
If it played like Halo, it would actually be an arena shooter, just slow. The CoD part was right though, no rocket jumps, no kick back from the rockets, loadouts, game is just simple running around and shooting each other effortlessly. No real sense of coordination or map control necessary.
Only one I played so far is Battleborn. I started enjoying it more after I started leveling up and upgrading skills. I chose the character with a gun. Haven't chose any melee characters yet but I don't know if I would like meleeing in this game, we'll see. I played solo campaign and it's pretty rewarding taking down bosses. I enjoyed Borderlands so maybe that's why I kinda enjoyed this so far. I'm not buying this game though until it's more than half off.
Only played the Battleborn beta and what very little I played I got super bored and never touched it again. Going to play the Doom beta tonight but after hearing everyone saying it's awful I'm sure I'll hate it too. Have no intrest in Halo 5 firefight beta. I love Halo 5 as it is and can't see myself playing firefight.
Having great fun with the Battleborn beta, I think there's a lot of potential within this game. Not interested in Doom a lot so I'll pass for now, maybe try it later
