[QUOTE="23Jarek23"]It's pretty bad, my save file is at around 9500kb and it's starting to show in the gameplay, so I stopped playing until it gets a patch (hopefully) because I don't want to lose my progress, which is unfortunate because it's such an amazing game and I don't want to put it down but I have to. If your going to buy it, get it for PC or 360 if possible, otherwise I suggest waiting until the word is out that there's a fix and it does it's job. I can still play, I mean, it gets really laggy sometimes, but other times it runs great, but I feel its getting to the point where it might turn into a completely unplayable save file like others have had to deal with. Just look at the PS3 section on Bethesdas official forums, it's littered with complaints.
It's also been given a decent amount of attention from the media, gaming sites like kotaku have written an article on it, ex POM editor made a youtube video about it, IGN has a poll about it...so hopefully this time around Bethesda will actually do something to fix it unlike their previous PS3 ports.

That's very interesting. After skimming through a few of those websites, I am getting a ball-park figure of around 5-6 mb is where the lag starts to kick in. This is very interesting indeed. I can only wonder what Bethesda will do. PS3 does have a history with open-world games, specifically people calling out Bethesda as stated in my previous post, but I always thought they were exaggerating or just BS'ing but this seems like a real problem :(The problems real, but I think it's a lot worse with Skyrim than it was with previous titles, those had lag, this one just becomes unplayable, it turns into a slideshow, actions like openinga door no longer work, interacting with someone doesn't work, etc. It's unfortunate because the game is hands down game of the year material when it works.
...and sorry for being kind of an ass earlier, being one of the players thats affected, it's been pretty annoying reading people saying how everyone is justexaggerating...but in all honesty I think those are the casual players who haven't reached that far into the game yet where their file size will get that big....when I was at 6,7000kb it was still fine and I thought I was one of the players in the clear, but the longer I played the worse it got as my file size got bigger.
The funny thing is, a lot of people have suggested temporary fixed like turning autosave off, disabling everything thats running in the background in the XMB, and a few others, and they do help, but they don't solve the problem because after a while the file size just keeps growing and the problems come back.
