Bethesda Games Age Badly..

tried to go back to skyrim...

couldnt play it for more than 5 minutes; it was a janky mess of a game.

is it just me or do bethesda games age like shit?

fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of this current-gen but its PS2-era animations will probably keep me from playing it again. i'd prefer to look at that game through rose-tinted glasses

visually, for sure.

They do the exact opposite, at least on the PC. The games are modded like crazy. I'm still playing Fallout:NV and it's just fine.

FONV and Skyrim are two of the best games this gen after Demons Souls when modded on a nice pc. I play them at 25x16 on my 30" Dell U3011 and they look fantastic to this day.

It'll be interesting to see if the Witcher 3 lives up to the hype and makes another great open world game, I'm kinda skeptical, yet hopeful. Time will tell...

Nah...Morrowind, Oblivion, NV, and Skyrim are still great games.

For the most part yeah you're right, thankfully mods can make them live longer.

Open in new tab for larger versions. Game still looks phenomenal, WHEN you include mods. Mods can also improve combat and enemy AI.

The console version in comparison looks like @ss.

Gametrailers done that. Redesgned everything, removed factions. Redone the front page. Redone the forum. It's traffic died off and Shane Satterfield left lol.

OT: lol i just recently had a friend give me it for the ps3 and am thinking about doing another playthrough but already hit a game breaking bug....i can't save. 

Install Skyre, location damage, ASIS, dragon combat rehauled, deadly dance and deadly dragons and see how to turn a casual console game into a manly pc game.
