MS has had the best conference so far. EA showed off a bunch of nonsense and sports, and Bethesda's was pointless.
@primorandomguy: Hope Sony up the show. MS show was okay, I agree. At least the showed games. Lots of it.
@jasonofa36: Yeah it was very ok. But for an unveiling console, it was a very underwhelming conference, but still better than EA and Bethesda. Sony, Nintendo, and Ubisoft are our lost hope.
EA, Microsoft, Bethesda. All three were abysmal. Ubisoft will be terrible. Hopefully Sony and Nintendo will be good, can't see how Sony's could be bad
It was pretty bad outside Wolfenstein II, Evil Within 2, and Dishonored DLC. It didn't need to be a conference. They only talked on stage twice. They could have just did what Nintendo does.
Maybe I'm being too negative, but I thought the conference wasn't that good. October is going to be awesome though.
So much for the hyped up new IP. Reallypissed and disappointed. Was really looking forward to a Space Science-fiction like Elder Scroll, Fallout game. Maybe it just wasn't ready.
I think they have had the best showing so far. They aren't as big as EA or Microsoft. They don't have a new console launch coming up. They showed the projects coming out this year, with solid release dates. Two new installments to two of their major franchises. Looked great to me. They aren't going to have a Fallout or Skyrim each conference.
7/10 from me.

Starfield was it? A new IP could've maybe made the show better.
Honestly, it just disappointed me. Wasn't awful, but definitely worse than last year's.
Didn't have anything newsworthy that required a livestream. Minus three trailers, it was all just news rehearsal.
That said, there is something to praise about this: short & sweet. Imagine if EA and Ubisoft ran conferences like this, they would be far more tolerable and less subject to widespread ire.
I don't know... I wasn't expecting much. I was actually giddy when I saw the Master Sword and the Hyrulian Shield in Skyrim Switch. Evil Within 2 looked amazing, along with Wolfenstein II. At least their presentation was entertaining.
was looking forward to it most. and yes its dissapointment as no good game announced. i think next year Id software will announced Doom 2. I was atleast hoping for Rage 2. starfield didnot get announced too.
wolfenstein 2 looks terrible like new order.
Let me make an impassioned non aggressive plea: do not sign up for creation club.
You do not need it in your life. You dont need any games in particular. Make them work for your money and dont let them charge you for things that have been free: namely other peoples mods. They have your money already. Dont let this be a success.
Wolfenstein 2 looks awesome. I'm also excited to play the new DOOM VFR game coming to PSVR and Vive although I'm not happy it doesn't seem to have free movement....
Strangely vague about Fallout 4 VR. Didn't say it was Vive exclusive- didn't not. Wolfenstein 2 looked cool, but not what I wanted. I expected better.
Not sure why Bethesda warranted it's own media briefing tbh. How many times can we recycle Skyrim?
It's become Bethesda's own RE4 at this point.
Stayed up til early hours of the morning to watch it and Wolfenstein 2 was like the only thing that inerested me.
Wasn't really expecting anything HUGE as Fallout 4 was 2015 and DOOM came out last year. Maybe another Elder Scrolls but that won't be for a few more E3's I think. Glad to see Dishonored 2 has some more story stuff. That DOOM VR trailer looked awful, holy shit that movement sucks. I'll stick to actually moving around quickly while mowing down enemies and not blinking to spots like dishonored.
Also, Wolfenstein 2 looked great. Hopefully Bethesda will announce a new DOOM in a few years and cut the multiplayer. Stick to SP campaign and expansions and more Snapmap levels.
Oh, and too bad no Quake Champions release date but at least there's the beta.
I'm excited for Skyrim on Switch. I put 100 hours into it on xbox 360 and considered myself done with the game but something about this version raises my eyebrow. It's a good time to finally play all that DLC I never bought, also, Skyrim on the go with some pretty damn good graphics is such a tempting proposition I can't pass it up.
Not every company has to have a huge carnival-like presentation in order to be good. EA had all these grandiose sketches with drums and stormtroopers and yet they showed mostly things that we already knew about and ofc a great amount of sports games.
I like the fact that Bethesda is a company that keeps a low profile but constistently puts out quality games. The track record of their releases the past few years has been almost flawless. THAT'S what the real point in gaming is.
E3 is antiquated at this point. its just big publishers showing pretty graphics... forgetting any sort of substance or risk.
Gamescon beats the s*it out of E3.
That Wolfenstien trailer went on forever, really unappealing with way too much dialog.
Evil Within 2 last portion of game play looked good, but that milky horror did not make for a great trailer.
Wish Skyrim Switch had a release date, or I might of just missed it. Motion controls?
The leaks really hurt the impact of this show. Also, lack of Starfield and any new BGS work was a major disappointment.

My thoughts as well. Perhaps the folks at Bethesda Game Studios stick to their habit of officially revealing games bound to release in the same year just like they did with Fallout 4. This sci-fi RPG is probably nowhere near the end of development. We may not hear or see anything about it for the next couple of years.
The theme park uhh..theme lol was a nice touch but yeah the actual show wasnt too great. Wolfenstien looked incredible though and im sure lots of people were happy to see dlc for dshonored.
And they confirmed motion controls for skyrim switch. That tells me they actually give a shit about the port and are leveraging the switchs unique features. Unlike ea and their sloppy seconds fifa port.
Wolfenstein is the only game I like by Bethesda, so I'm satisfied.
Evil Within 2 could be fun as well.
Evil Within 2(still need to play the first), wolfenstein, and quake looked pretty good. The rest kind of made me tune out hahaha.
