GCN>>>>Xbox 1, and Wii can play GCN games ... sooooooooooooooooooooooooSAGE_OF_FIREsoooooo not really because you have to play with motion controllers which is worse than traditional controllers to most people here on the boards.
In terms of hardware, the Wii. Just better overall, I think the Xbox had some awesome games, but the Wii has two Zelda games and Mario Galaxy 2. The Wii can also play Gamecube games, which is awesome. The GCN had some incredible games.

Xbox had better games, and a better online network which is funny lolRR360DDExclusives?
if so, you're wrong
When you play Gamecube games you plug in a Gamecube controller.
the original xbox didn't seem like that great of a console to me other than Halo 1, Halo 2, and Fable. The hardware had all kinds of problems and M$ ended the life cycle early.
Wii has had some great 1st part games and has had a lot of fun games to play with friends and family. I would say Wii by a wide margin.

I don't need a game to be exclusive to enjoy it. Most multiplats were shared but the GCN had a superior exclusive lineup.
Wii. Better looking games and a lot more worth playing. Only thing I can think of worth playing on Xbox 1 is Conker and NG Black.
In terms of hardware the Wii, in terms of the better looking games I'd still say Xbox.

Biased comparison ftw.
I am not taking sides here but I know the XBOX has better looking games than those.

Exclusives?
if so, you're wrong
SAGE_OF_FIRENo, just better games. I don't need a game to be exclusive to enjoy it. Most multiplats were shared but the GCN had a superior exclusive lineup. I wouldn't say so. I have yet to play a Gamecube game which has given me as much enjoyment and replay value as Phantom Dust, Steel Battalion, Otogi 1 & 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, and (even though it's on PS3 now as Sigma) Ninja Gaiden Black.
That said, no Xbox game has given me the adrenaline rush and sheer enjoyment factor of Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, nor had any games jaw-dropping 2D visuals like Muramasa: The Demon Blade, nor 1:1 swordfighting like Red Steel 2, nor a journey as bizarre and hilarious as No More Heroes, nor anything as awe-inspiring and clever as Lost in Shadow. I could go on, but you catch my drift. Though, Phantom Dust was incredibly fun on versus mode, and definitely has my vote for the best multiplayer game on the original Xbox, for the record. 8)
