Between those two which do you think has the best multiplayer(offline and online)?
edit: My vote go to DS. Single cartridge multiplayer = winner

I'll go with the Ds for single cart play. That's really the only way to play multiplayer portable games anyway.YellowPikUm, psp has that too, i play Metal slug single UMD with friends.

But Ds has the superior single cart games like Advance Wars, Mario Kart and Elite Beat Agents.

HAHAHAH! Yeah, right, you probably don't even know what Metal Slug is. Metal Slug for the Wii is the best version of it. It has 7 Metal Slug games. One rail-shooter on the PSP is not better than Mario Kart, Advance Wars, and EBA. Especially since you can get those 3 games and a DS for less than Metal Slug and a PSP.[QUOTE="falconclan"][QUOTE="Wanderer5"][QUOTE="falconclan"][QUOTE="YellowPik"]Um, psp has that too, i play Metal slug single UMD with friends.[QUOTE="falconclan"][QUOTE="YellowPik"]I'll go with the Ds for single cart play. Did you really? Please, point out just one game, any game better then goldeneye 64, an early n64 title.Â
You probably can't and thats not even its best game graphically or otherwise. I have a DS but i refuse to think that its a good system for anything but castlevania, and now PSP is getting CVX collection featuring 2 of the greatest games of all time. Â

I have had: Mario Kart, animal crossing, mario 64, both castlevania's, metroid, NSMB, Meteos.... etc, im not writing every game for DS that ive ever owned because i owned about 30 at one time. I sold all but CV:DoS and then rebought a dslite later. I now own CV:PoR, Metroid, NSMB, Resident Evil and sonic rush, 2 of those i REBOUGHT, because i really like RE and SR[QUOTE="Wanderer5"][QUOTE="falconclan"]Did you really? DS. Better selection of online games and single cart simply rocks.Redmoonxl2Do you even own a PSP? :|
[QUOTE="Redmoonxl2"]DS. Better selection of online games and single cart simply rocks.Runningflame570
I do, and I can tell you, the PSP's online games aren't as good as the DS's online games. Or at least in my opinion anyway. We can probably blame Field Commander for making me hate PSP multiplayer.
[QUOTE="Redmoonxl2"]DS. Better selection of online games and single cart simply rocks.Runningflame570
I've never owned one but the CompUSA I used to work at had a store bought PSP me and the rest of my coworkers used to mess around with. One of the guys at small business used to bring over a few games to fumble around with.
Regardless, why would bother bringing up that? You don't see me questioning whether or not you owned a DS just because you chosen the PSP. Cut the foolish hate.
The DS's multiplayer is pretty crap if you ask me. For example, Mario Kart DS when waiting to find players can take about up to five minutes , Animal Crossings is just plain hard to set up to get someone to play in your town and MPH is glitchy galour.
EDIT: I don't like phone numbers and this is coming from a DS owner
Because its a known fact that there are far more games online for PSP and the service itself is less troublesome?Regardless, why would bother bringing up that? You don't see me questioning whether or not you owned a DS just because you chosen the PSP. Cut the foolish hate.

Ok here's the deal from my perspective. First off, a couple myths...both false
1. PSP has no download play
2. You need friend codes to play online with DS
Both total crap.
Â
Now, multi-playerpros
PSP - better online tools, more games to pick from
DS - easier online tools, better LAN play.
Â
PSP seems to have pretty good online, but it's lacking in good LAN play.
DS seems to have really great LAN play, but doesn't seem really thought out well with online.

Besides, I merely stated "Better selection", not "More selection". If you are going to attack my decision, be sure to read my statements first. I feel that the online games on the DS are better than the games on the PSP. Also, FCs on a handheld never bothered me one bit. FCs on the Wii, however, is a completely different issue onto itself.
i like the new mario bros multiplayer... a lot so ds for me... also cuz i havent played much psp multiplayeromarguy01
I'll agree to that. NSMB's multi-player is often over-looked. To me it's about as fun as Halo's multi-player. Classic and fun...endless fun. I've prolly had more fun with the multi-player more than the single player...and NSMB is a AAAÂ single player game.Â
