eh we've seen from gameplay videos that its not, and frankly even with Ryse being an xbox dOne launch title it still has no where near the hype attached to it by Lemmings as Beyond two souls has attached to it from Sheens.Who cares? Ryse could be too.

Bullshit. Beyond is getting very little hype while lems continuously hype Ryse 900p visuals.

LOL and the pre-flop DC begins ...How can a game flop when no one is hyping it? I hope it is good but I have my doubts. I certainly won't buy it at full retail.

Beyond 2 Souls is not a game in the traditional sense. Here you just choose the main character's actions and that is it, there is no skill involved and you can't die either. Like, if you're getting chased by the police you can either let yourself be caught and go through a different branch of the story or kill them all to go through another.
The game starts from when the main character is like 12 years old (I think?) and depending on your actions you can become an FBI agent, a fugitive, a bum in the streets, a weapon for the military, etc. or maybe be even everything. If you guys weren't so stupid you would realize that this game shows a lot of promise way beyond Heavy Rain ever was. And not to mention that the game has 2 very experienced hollywood actors working in it too: Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe. And you guys could say that Cage should become a movie director instead of making games but the story-telling technique he employs in his games can't be replicated in a movie or TV series. And if it has many plot-holes then blame it on the multiple branches of the story that go deeper than then illusion of choice you get in other games like Mass Effect.

lol I love how your under the impression I give a damn about ryse or the xbox done...but you cant read so thats not surprising.1. Ellen page sucks. 2. Willem Dafoe is simply passible. 3. good actors can still get shit roles in shit movies...the same holds true for games.Beyond 2 Souls is not a game in the traditional sense. From someone who played and finished the game -
"So I just finished, just about 13 hours or so (so over the 10 hours David Cage said).
It was an emotional rollerocoaster ride. I felt angry and sad. Angry due to some shit people did in the game (wanted to kill those people) and sad (most of the time). I even cried about 4 times or so.
The story is nothing like Heavy Rain, more sci.-fi. It was good, very well (both exciting and emotional) and I had just a couple of pauses.
I guess the reason for the embargo lift is so close release is simply due to it's easy to spoil the big "thing" about the game, very easy. When I write my review, it's gonna my incredible difficulty to write about the story.
The game was awesome. Buy it.
I really want to write more about how the game/story is built up since it's nothing I guess you GAFfers will expect it to be. But due to the embargo I can't. So Im gonna just say I was very confused the first 2-3 hours, then things got more clear about how the game/story was built."

This is sort of the spiritual sequel to Heavy Rain, right?
Can't say this interested me before, but this announcement hardly hightens my excitement.
Is there really that little control in the game it can be done with a phone?

That's really terrible, who buys a movie for $60?

I know next to nothing about Ellen Page but don't mess with William Dafoe, you tasteless peasent.

You don't know if the story will be good or not because you haven't even played the game, on top of it that's not even what I'm talking about. What I'm saying is how the game will progress compared to watching a film or a TV series. Because this game offers many scenarios and depending on what you chose you can completely change the outcome of things. And is not just the scenario, the game offers many smaller layers of interactivity where even missing a bullet time action during a fight (what it used to be a QTE) changes how the rest of the animation plays out and stuff. So it might not be a game in the traditional sense where you would need skill to progress but it still is a game. A game where you control the story but within a set of parameters of-course because they can't give you infinite choices without messing up the story-telling they are going for.
