BF3 is the 10th biggest launch in UK history, but PC version fails to outsell AC

EA DICE's Battlefield 3 shot to the top of the the UK software sales charts in its opening weekend, making it the tenth biggest week 1 debut in UK history.

UK Individual Platforms Top 10

The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Battlefield 3 took up positions one and two respectively in Chart-Track's individual formats top 10 chart, while the PC version was up high at number four.

Only the Xbox 360 version of Batman: Arkham City was able to stop the multiplayer behemoth securing all top three places in the chart.

Why, because it's Origin?

It doesn´t count DD,and that´s a big market on the PC. The mere fact that it´s up there as retail version only is pretty good.

Only counts retail sales? inaccurate for pc. I'll wait till proper numbers are released from ea.

if its still top 4 in retail, thats very good

since its not even counting DD, which is more than 50% of the sales sometimes

PC games very rarely make the top 10 at all here, only noteable ones are Football Manager and the Sims
