Poor lems they're getting the "Wii" of next gen, they're gonna have the worse versions of all the multiplats and cause M$ doesn't make games they won't get many exclusives at all.
Gonna be a rough gen for lems.
So we have another BF4 dev, Alan Kertz, who claimed that the DS4 was the best controller for next-gen, implying that he'll be playing on the PS4. This is further indication that the definitive BF4 experience will be on the PS4. PC may have superior graphics, but the keyboard and mouse crutch puts it on easy mode and it's not fun anymore.CallOfDutyRulezpoor cows, always competing for 2nd place :(

Controller just sucks for FPS... it's simple fact. Just like how M&K is for sports.

i love the dualshock and its placement of the triggers. Im so used to it now that i find the 360's kinda weird when i play. The keyboard & mouse crutch makes the game too easy, as they only require basic hand-eye coordination. It's like having an aimbot. If you're the type of person who plays through a game on easy mode, PC gaming is for you.
Anyone who wants a challenge games on consoles.

Except, controllers are the one using a aim bot.
It's like playing hockey without a curved hockey stick for shooting... makes no sense to me.
And by your logic, they should invent a worst input controller so they can test your skillz.

I use a controller on BF3 on PC. Still own noobs and make them cry :cool:Your topic title is misleading. No where in the video does the man claim that BF4 runs better on either system. He just tells the interviewer that he's a Sony fanboy. In fact, he claims that both systems are so identical that the difference in graphics will come down to the skill of the exclusive developers rather than the hardware itself. We wont see the technological difference that we saw with the PS3 and Xbox 360. Also, Chris Doran isn't a BF4 developer. He is the founder and C.O.O. of Geomerics. A developer for a lighting engine that is used in a variety of games.a55a55inx
We saw a difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3? I don't see a damn difference between the two.

Dice confirmed XB1 version will be better.
mems_1224
Liar. Inferior hardware inferior version.
Nope, MS always has the upper hand when it comes to multiplats. its been like that for 2 gens now, no reason it would change now. That's bad reasoning. If you look at the specs the PS4 and X1 have nearly identical hardware with the X1 having 2 disadvantages. The ESRAM and the weaker GPU.
The only reason the Xbox 360 had better ports is because it had a far superior GPU and it had an architecture much closer to that of a PC. Also the Xbox had the best games becuase the thing was like 3x as powerful as the PS2. It's pretty obvious it would have better graphics when it was a clearly more powerful machine.

When you compare multiplats, you didn't see a difference. In fact, a lot of xbox 360 versions actually ran better. However, when you look at games by Naughtydog, you notice a graphical difference. But, maybe Naughtydog just has an amazing engine, and can actually run on the 360, they just never developed for it (who knows?)[QUOTE="Wasdie"][QUOTE="a55a55inx"]Your topic title is misleading. The biggest difference I saw was purely artistic. Naughty Dog was clearly the better developer when it comes to graphics in general. They knew how to stretch the limitations of the PS3 and cover any blemishes with smart artistic direction and did a damn good job of utilizing tech when appropriate. Epic just didn't have that.
Tech wise the Xbox 360 could pump out more polygons due to a much better GPU. The fact the PS3 could continually hold its own despite a terrible architecture that was pretty much a foreign language to all devs on it speaks very highly of the developers who were able to get the most out of the machine.

Dice didn't necessarily confirm that it will be better on the XBox One; they claimed that the XBox One version will be the "definitive" console version. This is because BF4 was originally developed on the PC with Direct X11. XBox One uses Direct X11 while the PS4 uses open GL. So, naturally, it was easier for Dice to port the game over to the XBox One version (possibly leading to less issues). Performance wise, it may possibly run smoother on XBox, but I have a feeling that it would be a minimal difference. So we have another BF4 dev, Alan Kertz, who claimed that the DS4 was the best controller for next-gen, implying that he'll be playing on the PS4.
