I hate the WoW one. A lot of the people who say its crap are the ones who were addicted and had no will power or never played it before.

I think a lot in SW already own a current gen console too which is very odd since most consumers wait like 2 years before getting one.

Where's that coming from?

The last week or so has just been "PS3 will fail" all over again.

a) Home isn't needed for gaming, Home is just there because Sony has no games, Home is crap.
b) Gamespot disses Sony, PS3 not worth buying.

Where have you seen the Wii hate? There's like 1-2 thread max daily compared to about 20 for the PS3.

The last few days there's been an increasing number of anti-Wii threads. Most seem to be rallying about the "drought" the Wii is having (I put drought in quotation marks because I believe its relative, but that's a discussion for another thread). Honestly, the more I think about it, it's pretty much the usual anti-Wii suspects (poopinloop, iceburg_shorty, etc), but there are new ones I've never seen before, like jackassnumber20. Perhaps I'm just being overly sensitive to it (I am, afterall, pro-Wii and anti-fanboy, making stuff like this stick out to me), but it is there and it does seem to be growing.

I predict that all the games you've mentioned will either flop or disappoint (BADLY) or not even get finished.

It all comes down to the PS3's crippled hardware which cannot be changed.

Well, it is crap, because even if I wanted to give it a go(which I actually do), I can't!. Why? Because for Blizzard, the world is only the US/Canada, Europe and few Asian countries; the rest of the people get shafted by not being able to play it, so yes, that makes the game a crappy one in my book and Blizzard can shove it in their collective a...holes!. Bastards.

What about this one... 1) The PS3 has flawed architecture even though I'm totally unqualified in the area of consumer electronics to make that claim. I did however design characters for a game company though.

Oh, I agree. The Wii already has some good games on the horizon, but 3rd party support has been slow to put out anything really substantial. If you listen to Matt Cassamassina, he'll lead you to believe there's plenty of stuff under wraps right now, but who knows? Oh, and as for SPM, I'm prepared. However, if it, by some chance, gets AAA, though, I'll be interesting to see how SW shakes out over that.

Even if it gets AAA the "drought" threads will still come (Actually if it doesn't get AAA then it's "drought" threads plus "flop" threads, which isn't a nice combo).

As for 3rd party stuff under raps...I don't see the incentive to keep it under wraps right now. If people start realising that Wii has little to no 3rd party support like the GC then it will be ignored immediately just like the GC.

And anyway, I think all 3 companies would have stuff under wraps. MS is probably working to get DMCIV and I'm sure Sony would be working to get a remake of FFVII.
