Biggest Collectors Edition Rip Off

What do you think the biggest rip off for a collectors edition was ?

me Bully all they gave you was a dodgeball and a horrible comic for $10 :(

I have never been interested in those CE that offer trinkets and what-not. I prefer the CE's with the "making of" features. Given that, I would say that the Ubisoft CE's tend to be at that bottom of my list, as the special features are often too brief or uninterresting to be enjoyable.

My favorite CE's are Halo 2 and Halo 3 (not the helmet edition, which can be had for about $60US new, btw.) These are examples of how CE, or special editions, or whatever you want to call them, should be done.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma CE is the weakest by far... seriously WTF?!

Spiderman 3 PS3 - came with the different box art with black suit spidy and option to play as green goblin... who still had to be unlocked somewhere in the game, wasn't even unlocked at the beginning... worse LE purchase ever.

Best SE was MGS4 Guns of the Patriots. The soundtrack. Making of bluray and the packaging were all tops for just 84.99. Worst is hands down GTAIV. Gym bag? Lock box? wtf?Bread_or_Decide

I wanted the soundtrack from that limited edition, but instead I got a stripped-down half-soundtrack. It didn't have the boss fight themes or the in-game caution/alert music.

the anime was good, and name one game what actually comes with good extra dvds in the collectors edition, o wait trick question you CAN"T....The dmc collectors was top notch for the price only surpassed by fallout

Bought it over Xmas and it is FANTASTIC Having Hard Boiled (one of the best action movies ever conceived) on Blu Ray...

Oh the game is fun too.

The worst CE I ever bought was DMC4. All I got with it was a crappy art book.

Of recent Medieval Total War 2 is still one of the best. Came in an awesome, large Box too.

One of the most dissapointing:

The best bit was the Box.

The sampler game guide was pathetic, the t-shirt... was a t-shirt.... and it was on DVD in a jewl case instead of paper slips.

Cmon Valve, that was a sorry effort.
