The patch includes basically all of Opposing Fronts, so you can play against OP players, and includes weather effects free for vCoH users. Its not that bad, so just leave the patch d\ling overnight. Or buy OF and you don't have do d\l the patch anyway :wink:.

Yeah, but this is ONE, SINGLE, MONO, UNO, PRIMO patch. I know all of WoW's patches add up way above that, but is there one that is just by itself 2GB??

The thing is...you don't want to play with OF players...PE is so overpowered.
I thought the patch was really big and now the game needs the CD to play if you are offline. The game has been out for over a year and never needed the CD until now. i have never seen a game needing the CD after being out for so long. I found that to be rediculous.

Haha it's for compatability with Opposing Fronts players. I thought it was pretty ridiculous for them to force that kind of patch on players. They should've had the option of playing on servers that don't use the patch.
But hey great game. I think Company of Heroes is the best RTS since Starcraft.

The thing is...you don't want to play with OF players...PE is so overpowered.
Yeah, haven't been playing much. But the new sides really put a whole new spin on the game (both for better and for worse). And yeah, the PE seem way overpowered. I don't have enough tags under my belt to justify it though.
