[QUOTE="skrat_01"][QUOTE="texasgoldrush"] WRONG texasgoldrushWhat was the purpose of this topic, to engage in a discussion with people or get on your soapbox and declare that you know better then everyone else? Because like every other thread you make, it's evidently the later, and blocking your ears and repeating yourself only makes you look like a bigger idiot then you are.And yet I still have not heard any real argument in why Infinite is truly better than Bioshock 2. I shot down your focus argument.
There've been tons. You just plug your ears and go "LALALALALAL CAN'T HEAR YOU."
I think some of the dialogue choices in TWD don't really gel with the way the plot is "suppose" to go. It makes certain character swings feel awkward, and the general ebb and flow of the conversation is just weird at times. Plus it's more smoke and mirrors territory like Mass Effect, but actually effective. Great story stuff, don't really care for the game as a whole though. jg4xchampYeah, I've noticed that, but it's good smoke and mirrors. The Walking Dead: Clowning Mass Effect since 2012.

Nope, there hasn't...and the ones that have are brief, unthought out arguments with very little detail.[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]I think some of the dialogue choices in TWD don't really gel with the way the plot is "suppose" to go. Zealots of the lady do not fight with the vox populi. There is only one instance where they are fighting you at the same time, and that is outside the bank after you activate the tears. They aren't on the same side however, they're merely both going for you. The Zealots show up at that point because you've disturbed the grave of lady comstock, not because they've switched sides. Wrong...they have red attire.[QUOTE="texasgoldrush"] 2. So you want the game to lack detail? You want gameplay/narrative segregation, which Infinite violates throughout. Vaasman
Dude Bad Boys 2 is like the single greatest buddy cop movie ever due to the most plausible plot of all time. The Miami Police Department would invade Cuba for one black cop's sister. I was just stunned at how Bay could write such a beautifully, gritty, and down to earth narrative like that. jg4xchamp
Hahahahahaha. Nice. I haven't seen that movie in so long, but I'm pretty sure my favorite part would still be... "y'all mothafvckas need jesus!"

There is a single zealot as you activate the bank tear who is wearing red, but he does not fight with the vox and only fight you when you activate the tear.

Anyone who knows anything about normal christianity knows that priests wear black and the cardinal wears red. As in, this is the last zealot you see, because it's the leader, and he's the last guy between you and the secret of lady comstock.

However, this aint christainity.....they are the KKK of Columbia. Where is the evidence that he is the leader? They're very obviously an extremist sect of Christianity. All of Columbia is. That's kind of the whole point of the story. And the evidence that he's the leader is that he's the last one you fight, he's dressed differently, and he doesn't start fighting until you're about to get to Lady Comstock. Seriously dude, just give it up. You're floundering at this point.

He's wearing different colors, he's the last one you fight, he's considerably harder... take your pick.
The religious undertones when you first see the zealots near the alter, the part where they are called Zealots, basic understanding of priests and cardinals, the part where you fight him by himself as oppose to all the other instances where they usually had allies for the rest of the game, even though clearly there were vox populi in that bank. Apparently it's suppose to be spelled out entirely.[QUOTE="DarkLink77"][QUOTE="texasgoldrush"] However, this aint christainity.....they are the KKK of Columbia. Apparently it's suppose to be spelled out entirely. Video game logic dictates that he's a boss. And therefore, the boss. But this is texasgoldrush. If the game doesn't spoon-feed the answers to you, it's a plothole. That entire scenario is pure "videogame logic" in the way it plays out(because yeah the vox should at the least acknowledge that this guy is getting by him), but nothing about that sequence necessarily implies he is working with them, or some glaring plot hole that ruins those 2 factions as much as that scenario is just pure videogame logic. Which to be fair all 3 Bioshocks have, because Videogames.jg4xchamp

Would it really hurt THAT much just to say you're wrong?Â
He's just dead set on finding issues with every little thing. I'm done talking about Infinite with this guy. He can go ahead and keep losing sleep over imaginary plot holes because it didn't do everything exactly the way he wanted. I'm going to continue going through life knowing that Infinite is an amazing game, with a top-notch story that puts 90% of the video game industry to shame.Â
Aw, was Jurassic Park bad? I kinda wanted to play that.DarkLink77Yeeeeeep, it's a shame really had so much potential. If you want an awesome (terribly broken) one, seriously check out Trespasser. First person cleavage, wonky physics arm and the worst dinos in any game. An actually good one? That Zoo Tycoon-ish one, Evo-something? The gist of it was that you ran and managed Jurassic Park, it was pretty cool.
