The devs seem more comfortable with 360 and all the previews I've seen have used 360 interfaces, so I'd say if in doubt go with 360 or whatever you got the first on for consistency. :)
I'm an achievement/trophy ..... XD So PC is not an option for me. Is there any idea on graphics or DLC? Would there be enough people online on the PS3 version to be able to find a game?Feb9Bioshock2It's the same thing man. I'm sure the 360 will have more people online though, as all games do for it. I doubt the multiplayer will be worthwhile though.
PS3 version
I think graphicaly both version will be on par, like most multiplatforms from 2009 (developers are more familiar with PS3 architecture than 2007/8, but that's... obvious). So everything goes to controller/trophy/achivment/live/psn preferences ;) I'ii be getting this for PC or PS3.
Thanks for all the responses, I think I might get it on the 360. Should I bother pre-ordering?Feb9Bioshock2
I believe the main preorder bonus being offerered around the world is the extra online skins...
The Special Edition is nice too, but is pricey for what it is.
If you're a die hard fan you'll get both, but I don't know if you are or not. :P
360 Version. Everybody Know That Multiplats Looks & Run Better In The 360 Version :)BloodSeeker1337
about 90% of Multiplats run about the same on either console being honest.
I'll be getting it on PS3 but i got a glut of games to beat tho :(
[QUOTE="blazinpuertoroc"]pc is not an option in this thread........ Well it should be because it will be the best version. If you have to chose for consoles though, get it for 360.PC

in that case yea go with 360 version because the first bioshock sold alot more on 360 because it came out a year earlier
i can garuntee you it willsell alot on 360 but PS3 who knows?
PS3 because you can hear every little sound. When I had Bioshock on 360 I had to put up with that loud jet engine and couldn't hear the splicers half the time.ParasomniacHow old is your 360. It sounds like you may have one of the ones with the original disc drive.
360 no question.
Controls are better suited to FPS games, and it'll no doubt have some added graphical effects missing from the PS3 version.
Says the man with the Bill Gates avatar and the sig containing nothing but 360 games. :roll:360 no question.

So you'd sacrifice better controls and graphics for the sake of achievements/trophies? :?

Thats why first Bioshock was much better on Ps3 right?:P
Where do you get much from? There wasn't much difference in the first Bioshock on both consoles, and there will probably be even less in the 2nd. Get it on which ever system you play the most.
Although it is worth noting if you don't have Xbox Live Gold, and want to play the Multi-player which looks great, then you should grab the PS3 version.
Personally I'm getting it on the Xbox360.
There wasnt much difference... except that whole year of console exclusivity on the 360. lol. And I'm not expecting too much from the Bioshock 2 multiplayer. I think the gunplay is good for the campaign, but it's not a game I think I could enjoy playing competitively. There wasn't much difference in the first Bioshock on both consoles, and there will probably be even less in the 2nd. oh yeah also forgot to mention the mandatory 25 minute install on the PS3 :)
I agree on the multi-player I'm not expecting it to be earth shattering, but the story taking place before the original Bioshock is what I'm looking forward to. I always thought the 2nd Bioshock should have actually taken place during the fall of Rapture..a prequel so to speak.

or because it came out like a year laterget the 360 version cuze.........
theres a 90% chance of it being better and FPS games are meant to play on a 360 controller :)
Nice sig. Reminds me of Eastman and Laird's original comics, where every turtle wore a red mask, but interiors were in B/W. On topic, PC is always the strongest, best system, I agree. But TC clearly stated either 360 or PS3, and since you have Bioshock on the 360 I say stick this series there.PC

No, but if I get the PS3/XBox 360 version of the game I would definetly replay the game to get all of the achievements/trophies, whereas the PC version I would probably play it once, play the multiplayer and go to play the campaign again and have no reason to..[QUOTE="aroxx_ab"][QUOTE="BloodSeeker1337"]360 Version. BioShock 2 is a Games for Windows Live title, which means it has achievements. Games for Windows Live titles tap into the same system as Xbox Live and contribute to your overall gamerscore just like any 360 game does.

Yup. I have Fallout 3 for PC, which is also a Games for Windows Live game. It does work like this- all the same acheivements as the 360 version, and it contributes to your gamer score. I played Bioshock on PC, so I'll be getting Bioshock 2 for PC as well. There are certain games that just feel right on PC, like the Call of Duty series. Bioshock just feels like a PC game to me. Bioshock PC also has 360 controller support. The interface changes to the consoles interface when a 360 controller is connected (including the in-game hacking sequences and the like). I definitely prefer FPS on PC, and when I can also get acheivements, it makes it a pretty easy decision.360. FPS games are better suited to the 360 controller.racing1750
not only that but TONS of recent multiplat games play and look better on 360 so I woudlnt take the chance.
Not to mention superior online, achivements, and since its obvious the 360 version will outsell PS3 2 to 1 YOU KNOW FOR A FACT when theirs DLC its coming to the 360. While yes it may come to the PS3 its not a guarantee ( it might even be 6 months later ).
