Okay... say you only have $60 at the moment and you own both a 360 and a Wii... Knowing that you'll eventually own both games, which one would you buy first? Bioshock or Metroid Prime 3?

I'd go for Bioshock because it's more 'fresh' than Metroid Prime 3 (I played the original). Sure it's another FPS, but it's got some fun RPG elements and has a unique atmosphere. I'm not sure if I like it more than N.O.L.F. 2 or Tron 2.0, but it's definately up there.

Bioshock. I played a lot of Metroid Prime: Hunters lately. I would have been in the mood for a change of pace had it been a choice.

I had to make this decision since i own a wii, a 360 and a PC capable of playing bioshock on high settings. Since I had two versions of bioshock to chose from and I still haven't decided which version to get, I ended up getting metroid prime 3 first. I think I'll get the PC version of bioshock (for keyboard+mouse support) in a few weeks

MP3, mainly because i want something to play on my Wii. Also I didn't fine Bioshock to be 'fresh' or 'new' since i have played SS2 before (and a lot). Bioshock does a lot of things better than other FPS, but it doesn't seem to bring anything 'new' to the table.

Bioshock. I can't stand Metroid. The only game where I will be playing as Samus is Brawl.:)

I got Bioshock first, but that was simply because it came out first. Yayyy summer jobs.

Anyway, I'd say get Bioshock first. It's definitely more of a fresh experience, but both are excellent games and DEFINITELY pick both up. I've played through Bioshock one full time and I'm half-way through on my second run for a different ending, and it's one of the best games I've ever played. MP3, on the other hand, I'm finding way more fun that the first MP.

So IMO, Bioshock first, MP3 second. Have fun :D

Both are fantastic (Gamespot review scores were both lower than they deserved) go with any one, both will last you 20 hours and are good for a few play throughs. The two best games of the year by far.

I'd rent them both. And save the extra money for Halo3.

BioShock without question. I love the Metroid Prime games, but BioShock is just something else.

Bioshock of course.

Metroid Prime 3, looks more like a rehash.

I had to make that choice yesterday. MP3, I CHOOSE YOU!!! Out of the games coming out between now and the end of the year, Bioshock is very low on my list, so I'll probably buy it next year. By the time I beat MP3, halo3 will be out, then I'll have to get No more heroes, SMG, MGS4, My sims, Ace combat6, Eternal Sonata, Mass effect and a few other things I forgot for the wii.

I will buy bioshock sometime after I recover from the end of the year game deluge.

MP3 is dated poop with stale gameplay just like Zelda TP. I would rather play a real next gen game with next gen gameplay (Bioshock)

If you have the rig to run it, get the PC version man. I've played both (I own a 360 and my roomate bought the 360 version, and I just recently built a new rig), and the PC version is superior provided you have the hardware. The keyboard and mouse support is definitely a plus, and I think the whole PC interface, including plasmid and weapon switching, is better. However, either version is a great buy. As for MP3, I haven't touched my Wii in about 10 months. I have no desire to play it. To be completely honest, and maybe I'm being a graphics W, but I just cannot look at Wii-level graphics anymore. Its hard to take when I've seen the likes of Bioshock in 1680x1050 resolution...

I'd say metroid prime 3 since I'm more hyped for that game, but since it will be released in two months here i Europe I will get bioshock for 360 first.... Too sad, but I will enjoy them both :)

Metroid, because once you play Bioshock it will make Metroid seem worse by comparison. And I am speaking from experience here... not fanboy conjecture. Hell, EVERY game seems worse than Bioshock atm.
