God of War 2 won best story and best technical achievement.

Wii Sports won 3 awards, Crackdown won 2 (what?)

Ps3 didn't win anything :(

There are still plenty of contenders YET to be released (ME, Galaxy, etc.)

Really, holding a "best of 2007" award show before many of the great 2007 titles are even released is completely, completely pointless.

All three VERY worth games.

Always pleases me to see okami get props. It seems like a game that would play so well on the wii... I am considering purchasing a wii just to support okami, and playing it again with controls that seem made for it.. well its the first time the wii motion controls really appeal to my in terms of gameplay.

But still, there are plenty of games coming out in the UK from this point until the end of '07. Holding a best of 2007 before 2007 is over makes absolutely no sense.

Looks like the only way BAFTA could get press attention was to hold their contest before the other guys did (at the sensible time, AFTER 2007 is over.) Makes no sense.

I agree with you fully. I understand why people love Bioshock but I for one absolutely love Okami. That game really is something special and I'm looking forward to buying it again for the Wii.

I vote Bioshock, although I've yet to play Okami. Going to rent the Wii version whenever that releases. :)
