you could preorder on gamestop and pay 10 bucks for overnight shipping and get it guaranteed on the 21st. but then again you have to pay an extra ten bucks. gamestop loves to try and rip you off.
1. It has been gold for August 21st for like a day and a half.
2. I'm sure Best Buy, Game Crazy, Target, Fred Meyer, Walmart, Circuit City, FYE, and Toys r Us will be recieveing copies just in case the almighty gamestop holds it a day

Apparently you haven't learned the concept of shipping yet. All stores, not just Gamestop/EB, get their games the day after release UNLESS they are within a short distance of the shipping warehouses OR there was a significant demand for the game and it was overnighted.

I got my preorder for the limited edition PC version of this game. It's going to be awesome. I hope the limited additon comes with a big daddy figure thingy. That would be cool.
