Bioshock's gotten two perfect scores so far, in its first two reviews. Heh. I guess my prediction about it averaging a score of AAA across the board, counting all reviews from all publications, was probably right on. I can't wait! Only 20 or so days left until release, which should be by in a flash.
Holy **** PC Gamer UK gave it a 95%? Are you serious? They're not leniant, either. From Wikipedia:
"Reviews are written either by the magazine's editors or by freelancer writers. Games are graded on a percent scale. In the US edition, no game has yet received a rating higher than 98% (Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Half-Life 2), while the UK edition has never awarded more than 96% (Civilization II, Half-Life, Half-Life 2 and Quake II)."
96% is the highest PC Gamer UK's ever given a game, and they gave Bioshock 95%? Ultra sweet.
No game gets scores like this and ends up being anything less than good. A 10/10 from OXM and 95% from PC Gamer UK? Do we have to wait for Gamespot's review to sing its praises?

Regardless of what Gamespot gives it, that is only 1 reviewer on one site. I love gamespot and all, but if everyone else agrees that the game is AAA and gamespot doesn't (I think they will), the game is still AAA. They have been wrong before (like giving Far Cry on the Xbox AAA status... unbelievable).
I think it will an interesting counter to Metroid Prime 3. They are both first person adventures (as opposed to FPS) with more emphasis on exploration and puzzles than action/shooting. Not taking anything away from Metroid, but Bioshock seems pretty dang revolutionary.
if you guys try to play a "it got AAA almost everywhere else but gamespot so it's still AAA" card, well...my faith in humanity will be lost considering everything that happened after the zelda review.
