Bioshock is Next Gen.. Gears is Next Gen.. COD4 is next gen.. GTA IV is Rubbish!

I know i know, there are a lot of GTA IV hate threads but i just had to get this off my chest.. First of all.. Bioshock, Gears of war and COD4 are all TRUELY next gen or (this gen if you want to get technical) games that easily deserved a 10!! GTA IV does NOTHING revolutionary whatsoever.. Hell even Mass Effect brings more innovation and fun to the table then GTA IV does.. and it only got a 8.5!!! I just have no idea whatsoever why GTA IV got a 10, how does it innovate from previous installments?! infact there is more to do in San Andreas than GTA IV.. The story and atmosphere of GTA IV felt very ininspired as well.. Nothing about this game whatsoever screams AAAA..

I know it wont change the fact that GTA IV got perfect scores across the board but those perfect scores where very very undeserved.

In my book yes Gears deserves a 10.. The reason being is because i can honestly say gears is the only game that i have owned the day it came out and still play it almost every day to this day, atleast until Gears 2 comes out.. The only other games i can say that for is Halo 3 and COD 4 although Gears takes up most of my time. GTA IV online is terrible, boring,slow paced and just overall unorganized and meaningless to say the least

Maybe because different reviewers are different people with different opinions, I'm guessing.

Um, it is a sequel, so of course it'll be the same at its core, yet this time they opted for more realism with the Euphoria physics engine. Games that you like are last gen in every single area, except for maybe graphics, so yeah...;)

GTA4 was like a GTA experience....it had great gameplay, maybe a little rubbish. Although, The story was crap and it made the missions feel like a chore. I actually had to take a break after 1 or 2 missions because it was freaking boring. Its definetly not a 10. And I think we realize by now reviews are scored on HYPE, OPINION, FANBOYISM, ADVERTISEMENT and MONEY.

I always agree with anyone who says gta4 isn't worth a ten. The game didn't blow me away like other 10s did. Even THPS3. I have to give props to rockstar though on all the little details in the game. That's what probably pushed the game to a 10 in gs's eyes
