Frankly, who cares? It is a nice title, but I think the 'OMG' hype has died out for it. It won't really make that big a dent in PS3's market, more like a blip.
after reading the article i just wish sega would make a 2d sonic, all their 3d attempts have SUCKED, the last good sonic game was sonic 3, seriously sega, make a 2d HD game, hell you could make it like Little Big Planet just no more 3d environments please please please!

It wouldn't shock me. It's a T2 game and I doubt MS would be willing to pay for it to stay exclusive (which is what they would have to do) at this point. It sold a ton of coppies on the 360 and there is no reason for it not to go to the PS3. It's a few months old and by the time it would be released on the PS3 it wold be like Oblivion.

Umm gotta link for that... It makes sense to me. If you have a PS3 chances are you have a nice HDTV and sorround sound system so a person that buys a PS3 is pretty well off financially and has tons of disposable income they can throw away on games. I think a lot of PS3 owners especially the early adopters have more than just the PS3.

I have a 360 and ps3 but I never got bioshock. I was playing the BEST RPG on the consoles oblivion. i wont get it now though there are too many games coming out that are better. Plus this is a rumor and probably not true.
I read Quartermann for years straight back in the day. I never got a feel for how often he was right or wrong about anything. 2K is a multiplat maven but Levine seemed to think MS had locked it up somehow. Then again he's more of a game guy than a business guy so who knows.
There are some PS3 fanboys who bash Bioshock without having actually played the game. So I'd love to have the game release on the PS3 so they can play it and enjoy it wholeheartedly.
One less reason to build a pc or buy a 360. I have repeatedly said that this rumor has legs and won't die. I think it is a timed exclusive all along, but 2k would never talk about it because it would ruin the deal they have with MS for the timed exclusivity. There were too many rumors about this before for it to be false. Now only if EA does a remake/ port of Mass Effect 1 to ps3 and I really will be happy. Either way I'd pick it up when it comes but until then my ps3 will get plenty of love with CoD4, Orange Box, Haze, UT3, Assassin's Creed, KZ2, Uncharted, MGS4, and LBP before either of those two come over.
It'll probably come to PS3 in Q2 08'. I might pick it up if it has some new, exclusive gameplay but honestly the core shooting of the game seems pretty lame to me. It comes off almost like a dungeon crawler with guns-repititious and slow.
