bioshock vs gears vs uncharted. which game has the best graphics throughout.....

my friend and i are debating which game looks best (grpahic wise) bioshock, gears or uncharted. i played all three games and i think uncharted blows gears and bio, but since my friend hasnt seen/played uncharted for the ps3, he think that bioshock or gears still has the best graphics currrently in console gaming. my friend's reason why he has trouble believing uncharted could look better than the two is because he knows xbox has a better videocard than the ps3. As far as i am concered, whichever console produces the best graphics is the more powerful console and right now is the ps3 with uncharted.

anyways this arguement is just going back and forth and its going nowhere so i decided to post this arguement to help us out. which is the best looking game.

All 3, by opinion. And tell your friend he is not able to say either GeOW nor Bioshock are superior to Uncharted because he hasn't seen it, let alone played it.

I own Gears of War, Bioshock, and I have downloaded the demo for Uncharted on my PS3.

I really dont see whats so special about Uncharted the foliage looks...Unatural and everything looks and feels stiff. Maybe its just the demo or something but I wasnt super impressed. Im not even saying that its a bad looking game, its amazing in its own right, Im just saying that Gears looks slightly better and Bioshock destroys them both technically and artistically.

IMO, Uncharted out of the three.

I've played Gears in standard def and studied the hell out of high def vids and pictures.....Bioshock I played on a very high end PC maxed to hell.

I'll buy Gears for PC and see how it stacks up, mayhaps.

By the way, the Burnout devs said in a podcast that they thought the idea that the 360 GPU was better than the PS3 GPU was a myth.

I too downloaded the Uncharted demo, and found the game to be extremely bland and boring. Perhaps the demo just wasn't that great or playing it three times wasn't enough, but I really wanted to enjoy the game and couldn't. Resistance was the same deal. A ridicuously hard first level, and the second level involved shooting a big guy for 5 minutes and then walking across bridges as you get shot.

Can somebody confirm that these games are actually 100x better retail? or am I just spoiled by Call of Duty 4?

If Bioshock and Uncharted had multiplayer it would've been a different story, so Gears Of War wins by a landslide since it was superior in the single player and over the multiplayer online, you can not beat that. Plus it was consistent through out, Uncharted not so much. Gears > Bioshock > Uncharted

uncharted.. it had great style and great textures.. bioshock was really nice but i remember some of the textures being really crappy.. i love the colors of the game though. Arsenal325

Gears of War's singleplayer wasn't all that (play it a couple of times, it gets old) and the only good thing about it is co-op. Multiplayer was so glitchy. :?

And how was Uncharted not consistant? Cover and the combination of shooting and platforming also worked very well, though I will admit the weapons weren't as strong. Uncharted had a much better singleplayer experience than Gears of War. I don't know about Bioshock since I've only played the demo.

i've played two out of the three and i know for a fact that Uncharted is the best of the three. You can actually see water dripping off his cloths in real time throughout the game...the lighting and shadows are great and and the physics r good....not to say gears looks bad but i think uncharted looks the best

All 3 games look awesome though. Only a fanboy would claim any game truly superior to the other two. Not bad for the Xbox1.5, eh?:D

Uncharted was extremely short and only good for a rental. While Gears of War stayed in my x360 for a long time. In fact, in terms of replayability, GEOW destroys Uncharted & Bioshock.

bioshocks art style puts it at number one for me.

i hated gears' art style so thats right at the bottem for me.

I own all 3 and think they all have their high points. Bioshock has the best water/atmosphere and art style. Gears seems to stay the most consistently detailed imo. CoD4 has more realistic looking character models then the others mentioned. Hevenly Sword has the best voice synching. And Uncharted has the best foilage.

Alot of people use Uncharted's early jungle levels to claim it the gfx king, but dismiss rather plain looking cave areas. Playing through the game at moments I thought the plants almost looked realistic, yet the characters had this disney world animatronic unrealstic-ness to them. There is also some screen tearing, which I just did not see in the other two.

You can't go wrong with any of them but I really like the Bioshock art style and complete package, over the others.

Bioshock has one of the best artstyles in any gane as I see it.

Neither one pf gears and u charted has a shot at the graphics of bioshock due too inferior artstyle IMO.
