A good way to make Bioshock better is to throw the disk away, pick up a 1999 games called "System Shock 2". install it on a low end pc, you will have a better gaming experence than putting Bioshock on a ps3 or a high end pc.

Well, it has had slightly more time to get better.

Also, I agree with Kez1984 and Stonin's QFT.

They've had an extra year to make content/tweak things, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't the best version.

...and I totally agree with the other posters - System Shock 2 really was a better game. :P

Why?

I've never understood this stance on older games. I'm playing System Shock 2 for the first time now and it's dated graphics don't bother me at all. In fact, the game is still creeping me out in spite of them.

We have had high resolutions for years. In fact, the image for this will be sharper on a pc than if it were on a hd-tv. Not that, that matters, it's a better game than Bioshock.

Wii owners wouldn't argue that. Don't you understand...PS3/360 fanatics are all about cutting edge graphics. That's why they don't like to look at Crysis screens. It ruins their console experience.

Oh come on. Graphics matter period. It helps immerse you in the game. I can go back and play old school 2d's but old school 3d's before last gen....no! It is literally annoying.

Of coure bioshock isnt as good as system shock 2. İt doesnt have that that small yet vital detail , superb artificial intelligence and outstanding playing style system shock 2 has.

And I just said that I am currently playing System Shock 2 and I am just as immersed in it as I am when playing modern games. Graphics help, but there are so many other more important factors. If it were only graphics older games would have failed to immerse us even back then.

I love your pitiful attempts at insulting people. I see you on a lot and all you do is troll and spout nonsensical fanboy bs. You're worthless.

Where did I say "we" in there? I have a 360 and a gaming PC. I was making a point that 360/PS3 fanboys are usually the bigots and wannabe graphics whores. I scoff at your pathetic attempt to slander me. Shut thy face before you make yourself an even bigger fool.

Sure audio and good gameplay help alot. But the real reason that immersed us back then is because that was cutting edge then. We didn't know any better. Once your eye gets use to a certain standard it's a lot less immersive to go back period.

Don't try to spin. I clearly wasn't insulted by your pathetic attempt at mocking me. It's obvious YOU need to grow up you little troll. Weak minded people always use the "it was a joke" excuse to try to escape from the fact that they said something stupid. Get out. You're pathetic and I'm done speaking to you. *spits in your eye*.

HD games like Halo 3?

Shock 2 could be played in HD when it came out

But go on and prove your shallow, flawed argument.

I'm not even angry. I enjoy tearing fanboys to shreds. I'm happy. I never said I was insulted by your comment, how did you ever get that idea? I clearly said "I love your pitiful attempts at insulting people". I never stated I was insulted.

You solidify my point..."my dumb comment...to take a stupid, small comment". Exactly, it was a dumb, stupid, small comment.

Didn't I say I was finished talking to you? Why are you taking my response to your dumb comment so seriously? Get a life.

Well thats my point, everyones opinion differs, its not a collective of 'we' not being able to go back because of a 'standard'

Games and films that have aged can still be appreciated by many... and are.
