Bioware comments on the coding and the PS3 and says no Shepard for you

We were inundated with tips this week about supposed "proof" that code found within Mass Effect 2 on PC "confirmed" the presence of a PS3 version of the game. It does not.

Seeking to clarify the situation, a statement on BioWare's forums reads:

The Unreal Engine is cross platform, hence the PS3 code. This was brought up back in Mass Effect 1 days as well.

Mass Effect is for the PC and Xbox 360.

I would not mind if it came to the PS3. More sales mean better sequel , or atleast faster sequel.

Why would PS3 owners care anyway? Don't they all have full gaming PCs that can run Crysis on the highest settings?

OH! OH! I guess that means Gears of War is also confirmed that its coming to the PS3! :roll: Sad thing is that cows won't let this go. Been over 2 years since the first Mass Effect came out, and they still think its coming to the PS3. Amazing.

I haven't seen GeOW code, but I doubt it has paragon and renegade points for the PS3.

im not being a cow nor do i know a lot bout coding but why was there actual reference to talent points in the code as i said is that not a part of the game? Cause it seems a term that ME2 would use.
