mario has been around for 20 years. master cheif has only been around for 6. and for someone who isn't the most recognized character of all time, bungie sure sold a lot of games starring him. hell the most recent sold 300 million in 12 days, and made $170 million in 24 hours. hmm. looks like that fat plumber has some competition.
