Bioware speaks on Mass Effect 2 for the PS3... says no comment, but with a smile

Retailers have been listing Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360 and PC) for the PS3 the past couple of days. First, after a long while of quiet and calm, Australian retailer GAME broke the peace by listing the said game for Sony's console. A day later, the same thing came up on a Russian retailer's site. So what does BioWare have to say about all of this?

A very cute, "That we don't comment on rumors. :-)" Seriously. Patrick Weekes put that smiley on his note in the official BioWare page. Way to go for killing the flames... not. If anything, this only pushes the speculation further that the game will indeed be coming over to the PS3. After all, they're not denying it at all, they're just keeping mum about it.

I smell an official announcement coming 'round the corner any minute now.

Meh, I would have been more excited about this eight monthes ago, before I had my current PC... great news for PS3 owners if its true though...

if it indeed goes to PS3, expect some additional content exclusive to PS3.

Why does it matter, I thought all cows had gaming rigs :P. But seriously if it goes to the PS3 thats great, more people can play what I am assuming will be a great game.

Great news for PS3 owners if a port is coming but IMO PC is still better to play it on.

Could have just been one of those days; he got a Christmas Bonus (in October making it so much sweeter), found out his GF wasnt cheating on him but was actually learning yoga to increase her sexual repertoire and one of his work buds slipped a tipple shot of Jack Daniels into his morning latte.

Would be huge for me personally if it comes to the PS3, Mass Effect is the only thing that makes me miss having a 360.

This would be the optimum situation for PS3 owners... Mass Effect 1 is one of the best games I have ever played...

they gotta also send up the first game to for the Mass Effect 2.

that is my only stipulation. let the whole trilogy be told also on the PS3.

seems like the above is the latest excuse that is brought up whenever a previous 360/PC 'only' title is rumoured to go also on PS3..

anyway if ME2 truly ends up being released on PS3 its only great news since more gamers will be able to enjoy this amazing title.... not so good for 360 fanboys who will have 1 less awesome title to list as a non PS3 title for 2010 :P

Well, I wouldn't convict the all the fanboys just yet (The right to a fair trial):P, but he's trying to keep some sort of generalization of one faction being bad, when any rabid faction is bad.
