Bioware using the Mass Effect 3 engine for the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2

It's still the UT3 engine.

If they somwhat cell optimized the engine this might be one of the few multi platform games that looks better on ps3.

yeah bioware are quality.

the fact that the PS3 version will be even better speaks measures.

well, it already looks better, it has "slightly" sharper textures and more defined color. Now we just need to see how it runs :)

It's unfortunate that they aren't updating the engine very much, but it IS a two year dev cycle, so it's to be expected.

what's wrong with that, Mass Effect 2 looked glorious. Dead-Memories

Maybe if you only play console games but to me it has a lot of low res textures and bad lighting that is way too dark.

I hope for the PS3 useres, that the usual Unreal Engine looks like hell on the PS3 doesn`t happen this time.

Bioware had time to get their wits together and create a good looking game for the PS3 users, especialy because they are not getting ME.

The comparison screenshoots of "superior versions" can hopefully be avoided this time.
