orrrr it could be something completely different?
Racer_XLR
I hope.
If you guys want to play Mass Effect so bad, just buy the necessary machine to do so.
Why... Don't we all have Super Computers capable of calculating the algorithms of time & space travel.. :|So BioWare made Dragon Age: Origons right for all platforms and it was better on PS3 than 360. So realisticley they could make Mss Effect better on PS3 right?
Sounds like the cows think that Mass Effect franchise is going to their console. Even if it does, you realize you'll never get the whole series since Microsft published the first one. And really, that would be a bummer since it's really cool to see your choices from the first unfold in number 2, whether they are subtle or not. Just buy a 360, cows. I own both. Life's good.iammason
Whats a cow?

Life's good.iammasonKind of funny hearing lemmings say this after the whole mgs4 fiasco..
It's probably Mass Effect, since EA completely owns the entire series, not just the second one.
Of course, it would be cool if it were a new game. EA = Bioware, we'll see soon enough. ME2 just came out, and they aren't allowed to talk about any other versions if it's a Timed Exclusive, like Take 2's Bioshock was.
People in SW denied Bioshock right up to the day it was announced. Of course, later we realized Bioshock was a paid for timed exclusive, but at the time, it wasn't!
This article was interesting :
""All we've ever said when we've been asked about Mass Effect, is that we've launched it on 360 and PC. But PS3 for Dragon Age was exceptionally fun to do, and I can tell you we're working on more unannounced PS3 projects right now."
I think Mass Effect 2 demonstrates you can still push the envelope even further on 360 and we're excited about the future of that platform – and PS3 for that matter. They're both good platforms at the end of the day."
The BioWare CEO also confirmed that the team at Edmonton had started work on Mass Effect 3. "We haven't formally announced it yet, but the team has moved onto the next instalment in the trilogy," he said. "We always said it was a trilogy. When we announced Mass Effect 3 formally we'll probably have more details around timeline and that sort of thing. But they're already working on the next installment. We do have a goal of enabling players to continue their experience on the PC and Xbox 360 – we haven't talked about any other platforms yet, but those are the platforms the games have launched on."
Bottom line, these aren't exclusive, but they are launched on PC and 360. I think EA and Xbox have made a deal, and in time EA wants this series to be HUGE. I'm sure they want it to be on every platform possible, it's EA. In the meantime, EA is no stranger to making some easy timed exclusive money. They took some money for ROCKBAND 2 for 30 days. It's all good, but I'm sure EA wants ME to be a huge brand, and who can blame them? This is EA!
In the end, we have only learned one thing about this article. BIOWARE is working on an unnanounced PS3 game?
If you guys don't think it's ME, what is it? If it's a new IP, why isn't it for PC and 360? :P

Why not just buy the "superior" version on the PC.. :|OhSnapitzIf they come to PS3 they will have more content than on 360 and PC. Probably all the DLC they make right on the disc and something new. That's Sony's policy.
wasnt the graphics a tiny bit better? So BioWare made Dragon Age: Origons right for all platforms and it was better on PS3 than 360. So realisticley they could make Mss Effect better on PS3 right?

ps3 could make me1 better as the graphics are older so they would be newer

iammason, you make it sound as if you know that Microsoft somehow owns the right to the game indefinitely.
Can you provide me the links of where you derived your contractual knowledge of this?
Thanks.
How to say nothing in an interview and appear to say something by Dr Ray Muzyka :P
BioWare co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka has told NowGamer that the developer is working on unannounced titles for the PlayStation 3
Asked whether the studios experience with the PS3 on Dragon Age could accelerate the chances of Mass Effect appearing on the console Muzyka told us: "All we've ever said when we've been asked about Mass Effect, is that we've launched it on 360 and PC. But PS3 for Dragon Age was exceptionally fun to do, and I can tell you we're working on more unannounced PS3 projects right now."
"We're working on more unannounced PS3 projects right now"
And despite the issues with the PS3 version of Dragon Age, the studio enjoy working on Sony's machine. "For Dragon Age it was interesting – even though we have more experience as a studio working on 360, the typical assessment was that most of the review scores were a little bit higher on PS3, said Muzyka. "The PS3 seems to be favourite among many Dragon Age fans. It represents advantages over 360, and 360 represents advantages over PS3 in some ways. We obviously have a great amount of affection for 360 and we're going to continue to develop for on that. I think Mass Effect 2 demonstrates you can still push the envelope even further on 360 and we're excited about the future of that platform – and PS3 for that matter. They're both good platforms at the end of the day."

[QUOTE="ReaperV7"]Another beta tested game for the playstation 3. OhSnapitzYea just like Bayonetta.. ;) ??? They were released the same day :?
I could see them doing ME 3 (or even 2) for the PS3 but I don't see them taking the time to recode the first one for what I would guess would be fairly small sales and people wouldn't want to pay full price for a game that old.Good news! I hope the whole trilogy arrives on the PlayStation 3.

Yeah, didn't Nintendo publish Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie + Tooie, and Conker's Bad Fur Day? All of which have ended up or will end up on a Microsoft system.
Thats all Bioware do, make win! An exclusive Bioware RPG for the PS3 is pretty much the only thing that will convince be to buy at this stage of the gen. :) And I would be very happily convinced.Coo. Its either ME or something els. Just please let it be a choice rpg again.

They could put the first 2 on one blu-ray. That way they don't have to worry about selling them separately and people would be paying $60 for both in one. Mass Effect is a very cheap game on the 360 right now, like $20 new.Good news! I hope the whole trilogy arrives on the PlayStation 3.

Because I would have to run it at medium. I have to get a new video card.

Last game they made that i liked was NWN. Dragon age= dumbed down version of BG2 and Mass effect is probably their worst franchise. My faith on the future of WRPGs now lie on CDProjekt the creators of Witcher, the only WRPG this gen that was awesome and extremely underrated. Bethesda also aren't what they were, after creating the greatest RPG of all time(Morrowind) they haven't made such a epic world to explore since.Coo. Its either ME or something els. With this savefile business it would have to be essential. I'm sure Bioware would want the first one on PS3 too as it would not be the same without things carrying over.
