Who knows. Might be a coincidence.

That's the one place i thought this game wouldn't get bashed.

If you even mentioned something bad about it you would get moded and called a troll and what not. That was a few months ago.

The situation changed i guess.

The people with the negative feedback are not even trolls, they all are legit accounts with their games registered.

im sure if that was the case only their forums would be down due to technical difficulties... instead of their entire website.

There are tons of people creating negative threads that are allowed to stay open.

I don't post there anymore. But a lot of threads about the negative changes were locked down with the excuse "It doesn't promote discussion" or "Post it in the impressions sticky" or the best excuse was "This thread has derailed, locking"

Bioware should take criticism , every developer gets it.

They do... some threads devolve into off-topic matters and they are very quickly locked regardless of the content. Some threads simply don't promote discussion.

EA and Bioware's sites are filled with people complaining about the game, talking about the game, and pages and pages of forum posts about technical problems of game crashed or it not even starting every hour. Also, all the people who are downloading the DLC and redeeming codes. It's likely just all the traffic on the site

90% of the threads got derailed and didn't promote discussion (the regulars there were kind of ...well weird) , yet only the negative ones got locked.

The site couldn't handle the consolization and decided to crash down with the final speck of glory it had using the bioware name.
That's some true bushido right there.

Conspiracy theories and I think a few of you need to buy a tin hat Anyways the forum and the website work for me. In fact their main site seems to have gotten a revamp so that is why it was down.

No kidding. Regular discussion on the BioWare social forums is disturbing. I have seen things regarding romance options that cannot be unseen.

Lol what are you talking about? Before EA they released games on PC/Xbox simultaneously. Jade Empire, Kotor, Mass Effect...etc. Those games were just fine.

Were they? Guess that adds more weight to my argument. I always knew those games were focused primarily on the Xbox/360 but I never knew they were released before they were on PC.

I was joking.

I was mostly taking at stab at BioWare for the shoddy quality of the games they have released lately.

Ya they released some games on the console first for example Jade Empire and I agree it only helps what you were saying. On another note I honestly think 3/4 of the DA2 haters have not even played the game other then the demo but are just jumping on the hate bandwagon. I just started act 3 and while there are things I do not like it is also a very good game. I think many haters should stop trying to be cool and joining the hate parade but instead see if there is even a reason to hate on the game. There would be far less haters then. I would prefer it go more back to DAO in a couple areas but then again I like a couple of the changes. Seeing that it is also a great game in its own right I am not one of the haters going OMG CONZOLE BIOWARZE R DA NEWBZ.

You're right, people arent able to draw a conclusion that a game looks "unappealing" or simply "not for them" ...by reading feedback/reviews,watching videos on youtube....or perhaps trying out the "demo"themselves

We have to throw down $60-70 dollars for the game, playthrough it 10 times...and purchase all of the DLC before we're allowed to pass judgement.

Otherwise we're all just ignorant Haters

The forums are always in an uproar when a new game is released, forget abotu Mass effect2? The forusm were flooded with "OMG ITS THE DUMBED DOWN CONSOLE GAME!! OMG BIOWARE IS TEH FAIL!". Same with Jade Empire "OMG BIOWARE DID ACTION ORIENTED GAMEPLAY! OMG! FAIL!"

Dragon Age2 is not perfect, but its still a very good rpg and a 8.5/10 in my book. Some things could have been better but somethings were improved, just like ME2 was to ME1 imo.

"The site is currently down for maintenance. Check back again shortly!" That has happened many a times on the bioware forums, not jsut today
