Black Friday ( PS3 come out on top over Xbox360 )

PS3 sold nearly 400,000 units during the week around twice as many as last year and significantly ahead of Xbox 360 , and with this results I think it only means one thing that in Christmas it will be the same thing, that the ps3 will see a big rise over the 360

probably because of all the people that have been sitting on the fence waiting for that sweet spot price to arrive. and the exclusives this holiday and the exclusives coming in spring ain't bad either (they're stellar).

well it figures that ps3 beat xbox in black friday sales since the ps3 is way better!

It may be vgchartz, but it might just be right. Microsoft is really dropping the ball right now, it seens like they just stoped trying to predate on the ps3 because of their confortable position. They're probably betting all their coin into the natal thing, while trying to improve xbox through these stupid things like facebook to keep people interessed, instead of acquiring more exclusives and trying to clean this cheap hardware image.

I'm sure the numbers are off, but the ratio is probably fairly accurate (ie Wii/DS>>>>>>>PS3>>>360>>>>>>>PS2/PSP).

I don't think its any big suprise that this is the holiday season for ps3 if its gonna have any at all... The Wii and 360 have handily beat the tar out of the ps3 over the holiday season every year its been out. Sony is going for it. It will do well, but I wouldnt expect insane numbers over the 360, and most likely not in the range of the wii.

posting sales numbers is fine, I was commenting on "im being annoying, because you were to me 3 years ago!!! Take THAT!!!" thats kinda annoying... sorry. If people in system wars actually discussed the issue rather than walk around with huge cyber chips on their shoulders than the world would be a much better place.

Well I put it like this, if PS3 outsold 360 or even tied it from the Black Friday sales then MS is in a world of hurt. Because all the deals I have been seeing between the two MS had the better ones and if they couldn't outsell the PS3, then it shows people want PS3 more then 360. Personally I think 360's reign over the PS3 is over and it may take a little while, but I think they will eventually pass them in sales also. I estimate about two years tops, Christmas is going to be the bread winner to see who is in control.

The 360 bundles has tons of stuff, but I think the 100 dollar mark up made it less appealing than the PS3 bundles, which are essentially throwing in 2 games for free.

I'm doubtful of these numbers. I'm also doubtful the Wii did 800k in a week. VGvhartz is garbage. Can I talk to a mod about having it ban?

and bam nintndo wins 09 holidays with , 500k + wiis in october

nds sales over 400k+ in october

wii sold 850+ k units in november in that week alone!
