Black Ops 2 Early Copy Impressions

People have been righting this game off for months, however I , like always got it early and I'm pleasantly suprised to tell you this is easily the best COD yet.

Pros

Tons of Recoil makes guns fun too shoot

Soundtrack is easily the best of any FPS this year, the theme song is simply amazing

UI is the best of any COD and the complete opposite of Halo 4's, in that its actually functional

Graphics are actually amazing. Game runs buttery smooth and the graphics are suprisinly crisp. Textures are high res unlike previous CODs Killzone and Halo 4.

Zombies is back and deeper then ever, you can start from any wave meaning no longer have to play the first 5 boring waves.

Camos unlocked via Headshots not gun rank! ala COD4

Well designed maps keep pace flowing

Best spawn system I've experienced in a Arena FPS yet

Cons

Much steeper learning curve, Coming from someone that has a 1.6 K/D in MW3 and 1.4 in all other CODs I suck at this game so far, yet its still fun.

Quicker kill times means you often are shot in the back and have no chance.

Turn speed to Aim sensitivity Ratio is off, Turning your gun in ADS mode is too slow, the only way to speed it up is by changing the entire aim sensitivity up . Needs two different options IMO.

Campaign is slightly confusing

Leagues, due to not enough players online atm I have not checked this out

Camping, not many campers yet but once the kids get on everything changes LOL

Glitches, Unknown yet

nah, I get all of my games early, buddy of mine works at a Futureshop ( Canadian Best Buy) He normally manages to get me big games early.

Because I happen to have an opinion on the matter, and free time to boot? I clicked because I wanted to know whether there were any actual significant changes. My mind is not made up. I don't get money to hate COD, it's just that I wish they make some actual changes to the core gameplay. COD 2 and COD 4 were great games imo. But after the 4th one they haven't done anything new.

I've seen the game being played plenty of times....graphics aren't anything special.

I find these two things incredibly hard to believe. CoD has never had recoil before, nor has it had impressive graphics. Based on the Blops 2 videos I've seen it's visuals look almost identical to MW3. I think you don't have the game and are just talking out of your ass. And lol at referring to CoD as an "arena shooter".

TC you don't need to play it offline. It's not like you will get banned for playing a game early :P

Edit: How long is the single player? MW3 only lasted me 4hrs :( Is the story any good?

Soundtrack in MP? Like the Spawning Sounds? Good, not the greatest (MW2 is IMO) The game seems jsut as fast paced however thats how I play it. You can still play it slowly like COD4/5.

TC you don't need to play it offline. It's not like you will get banned for playing a game early :P

1.) Graphics honestly have not changed much from MW3 or Black Ops. I've seen the graphics in action, and they don't look to impressive.

2.) I'm calling BS on the "Start from any wave". Why the hell would Treyarch let players do that? The leaderboards would be screwed.

Sorry, need to specify, you can start from any wave in Private/Custom Matches only. Graphics are actually alot better then MW3. Just alot more tiny details and high resolution textures, both of which are hard to notice in videos.

I said in my title, I get all my games early from a friend that is a manager at the local futureshop. I had halo like a week before launch, not a month when it was leaked online.
