Black Ops First Strike DLC sold 1.4M units in first 24 hours

During an investors call today, Activision announced that 1.4 million copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops' "First Strike" map pack were sold "in the first 24 hours" of its February 1 debut on Xbox Live. At $15 a pop, that's $21 million in gross revenue in a single day -- on a single platform!

I wonder if the 2nd pack surpassed these numbers

Yeah I'm honestly wondering why people here act surprised only so they can rip on the game for no freakin reason. Ok you don't like it, big whoop don't buy it then instead of insulting others for enjoying things you can't.

1.4 players just wasted 15 bucks each. You can actually buy good games with those money, like Metal Gear Solid 4 or Gears of War killzonexbox

I bought it and I don't even on the game for 360. Seemed like the right thing to do.

I don't hate on CoD...i still play CoD 1 (& UO), and CoD4 online... I'm just hating how malicious Activision is when it comes to the green. I remember when IW used to give maps for free and the only thing we paid for was expansions (i.e United offense)..complete with new maps, vehicles (yes, vehicles), weapons, and even SP missions. At least Dice kept their expansion model intact, and you get real content for the same price that one would pay for a MW/BO map pack.
