I mean, it seams like that's the direction developers are taking. NVidia unveiled their glasses, and now Sony has been tingling around 3D stuff. This is all great exept, I can't see 3D! Seriously! When I watch a 3D movie, it looks really weird and not 3D. Pictures look flat too. I'm getting kind of ticked. Mario2007maybe you were watching a bad 3d movie.

You were born with an eye problem that prohibited you from viewing 3D? If that is true, that's the first time I'm hearing anything like that.
3D gaming looks interesting. We'll have to see for ourselves in order to judge it.
Sterioscopic 3D is old tech, I don't know what all the fuss is about; in most games it looked like arse.
You are constantly adjusting the settings to reduce the appearance of ghosting, it is never perfect.
[QUOTE="DireOwl"]It's just a gimmick. I really don't see gamers wearing those "unique" glasses every time they play a game. I can't stand those things anyway, they always make my ears sore.kenmid
that's what people said about the wii, and 42 mill later??
They realize that 3-D and the Wiis motion sensing are completely different.

Yeah, but this has actually been around for two decades.[QUOTE="DireOwl"]It's just a gimmick. I really don't see gamers wearing those "unique" glasses every time they play a game. I can't stand those things anyway, they always make my ears sore.kenmid

Gaming is just now becoming acceptable. Nerd glasses are a huge step back.Nope, I was born with an eye problem.[QUOTE="Mario2007"][QUOTE="Panther501"] maybe you were watching a bad 3d movie.masterflame10

Well, if you have one bad eye, you won't be enjoying 3D at all. You need both eyes, man :|

Hopefully all future "3D" stuff will be optional. Here's hoping.

Gaming is just now becoming acceptable. Nerd glasses are a huge step back. And so is flailing around you arms swinging a Wiimote with your grandma. 3D could be the next evolution in gaming.[QUOTE="cuddlesofwar"][QUOTE="kenmid"]Gaming is just now becoming acceptable. lol You mean nerd glasses werent cool in school??? 8)3d stuff has been around for like a quarter century. It was a fad in the 80's movies then stopped. The sega master system had 3d glasses which I still have in the original box.
Its always been a good idea but for whatever reason, it never takes off. Based on past experience, I wouldnt expect much to come out all this talk about 3d.
