Blizzard: Xbox One X hardware 'incredible,'

Wow....the praise just keeps pouring in from well known and respected developers who know what they are talking about. I think I will take the word of well respected developers in the know rather some silly fanboys. I don't recall, did these guys make similar comments about the PS4 PRO? Great job, MS!

It is getting a ton of praise for sure. If I did not buy an X1 shortly after launch, I would pick one up.

Incredible at what? Could you be a bit more vague? Incredibly slow frame rates? Incredible lack of a single game exclusive? Incredibly over-priced for a console with an archaic CPU that bottlenecks the whole system?

Odd, right? ;) Since when did Blizzard become some random developer? They are very well respected in the industry. When they say something, it should carry weight. :)

I asked you what the quote was. I couldn't care less what anyone did or didn't say about PS4 Pro. What context was the quote in? We've already had devs make quotes comparing the X to a 1070 which turned out to be a blatant lie.

So in what context did you get this quote from? We all want to know why you're delighted about MS getting a seal of approval from Activision Blizzard, now renowned for loot boxes and microtransactions and shafting gamers to the hilt at every step.

lol did you actually read it? MS went fishing for quotes from Blizzard and some PR marketing clown replied claiming to be 'excited with great possiblities' for 4K lol.

They will say the same thing to Sony if they ask about 4K support for the Pro 'we are excited for the great possiblities with your incredible hardware' lol.

They will do both at the same time and both will be 4K the game is nothing special at all graphically but hey congrats on your big 'win'.

Does it have to be Blizzard? We've seen EA, Ubisoft, etc. all praise PS4 Pro hardware last year.

PR quotes are meaningless in this industry. At some point in time we had publishers calling OG Xbone hardware incredible and powerful.

It didn't cost thousands. It doesn't cost that much to put a good PC together. It cost a lot more than the X, obviously, but if MS spent a bit more (and even put the price up a bit as a result) on a decent CPU you could have had a much better system.

Tbh I don't care either way, knock yourself out and enjoy it. I only take particular exception when a certain spamming moron keeps starting threads comparing it to a high end PC which is just plain dishonest. That rubs me up the wrong way.

Why should I give two shits what Blizzard has to say about the PS4? I could link you articles with developers claiming the PS4 Pro is "THE MOST POWERFUL CONSOLE EVA!!!" but so what? I mean can you define what "incredible" is? because there is nothing about the X1X that is particularly "incredible", its tech is outdated, its performance is average at best and software line up doesn't look that impressive either. Sure the machine is "incredible" against the PS4 Pro in terms of specs, but...do you honestly think thats a milestone worth celebrating? firstly the X1X software is still pathetic compared to PS4, and second do you understand that the X1X (and the PS4 Pro) are soooooooo far behind in the tech world? X1X beating the PS4 is as impressive as an 30hp car beating a bicycle in a drag race, you're both still a joke compared to a mustang (in this case, PC) which actually has features that you would call "incredible", and having it coming from the mouth of a developer doesn't change that.

Understand something lem, the world is bigger than Xbox vs Playstation, stop being a corporate shill and get something that is of interest to YOU, not MS or Blizzard or whatever company that doesn't care about you, your loyalty to them is very unproductive.

Eh... let's be honest here. There aren't tons of threads lying about the X to make it look bad the way he has started tons of threads lying to make it look good.

I know it's SW and all that so in that case go for the PS4 Pro and have at it but do not lie about high end PC performance, some people could make a really bad buying decision based on that kind of misleading information.

I agree, Microsoft has developed an excellent system.

Probably meant its incredible compared to the original X1 in case it is a big a leap. However incredible vs Pro or comparable PC it is not.
