Blizzards *secret* game....

... in fact is no secret at all.... the image has changed again (for the 2nd time) and I figured out exactly what it is...

it is merely related to WoW: WOTLK..... most likely a release date....

The Runes I just realized are related to the new character class "The Death Knight"

"Runes: Every death knight ability requires runes, which come in three varieties: blood, frost, and unholy. Depending on the ability, it may require runes of a single type or a combination of types. When a rune is used, it has a cooldown period before it can be used again. Death knights can customize which array of six runes to have available at a given time, which can aid their ability to perform certain roles. Very true. The teaser pic shows the Hel rune form Diablo 2. It is identical t it. As if WotLK needed any more advertising and publicity as it is.

In todyas picture the hole is now bigger, and there is a 3rd Rune on the image ... all matching socketable runes from Diablo II.Meu2k7

Yeah, I've been playing Diablo 2 recently, and I immediately noticed that. : ))

I'm 90% sure this is about D3 :) i been waiting for this game for a good time now T_T CANT WAIT.

Could be a new Hero Class. I guess patience is the key here, we can speculate all we want and then it could turn out to be something completely different from what we thought/hoped.

It was anounced back in 07 that they are working on 3 games. WotLK, Starcraft 2 and another unkown secret project... called the ''Hydra'' project.

We all are like 90% sure .. Even blizzard said , their next big MMORPG will be based on a very famous Blizzard world.

We had WoW , we had SC2 , its time for new Diablo babe, and its the best game to be mmorpg imo. Dark medieval , with many popular classes like paladins,sorcs etc already known :)

Im telling you is D3 and i cant wait for it. Hope soon enough ( 2 -3 years ) be ready.

The first "rune" is from WoW; a sword (Frostmourne, I think).
The second "rune" is from Diablo 2; Hel rune.
The third "rune" is from Starcraft 2; Protoss logo.

Any speculation is just that - speculation. The hidden image (purple monster) could just be a fake-out, and the whole "tundra" and all that is fairly obvious. Blizzard is just messing with our heads right now like they have in the past.

There's no reason to assume it has anything to do with WoTLK. Believe me, they do NOT build up this hype around "betas" or "release date" announcements - this is a new game, there is NO DOUBT in my mind. If you think it's WoTLK, they (Blizzard) have only done what they were doing in the first place - tricking you.

I thought there were runes in the original Diablo 2, but maybe they're doing it from chronological order.
