Bloodborne GOTY Edition Launching Nov. 25

Hi everyone. Today we’re happy to announce that Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition launches on PlayStation 4 from 25th November 2015. If you haven’t yet mustered the courage to venture into Yharnam’s dank, treacherous streets, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved, packaging together From Software’s critically acclaimed action RPG and the incoming DLC story expansion, The Old Hunters.

The Old Hunters challenges players to explore entirely new environments, including a monolithic clock tower, filled with Bloodborne’s traditional blend of risk, reward and frightening boss encounters.

In addition to new environments, you’ll also gain access to new outfits and weapons to bolster your beast-battling arsenal, including a fearsome new ranged weapon called Simon’s Bowblade. On top of this, The Old Hunters also offers players the ability to go native and transform into terrifying beasts.

Expansion to one of the best games of this generation, already getting a GOTY edition. I'm probably going to pick up the GOTY edition even though I have the game already.

I'm curious to see how well this sells in the long run, it sold faster than any of the Souls games so far at 2 million as of last month. Before you even ask, yes, this is still exclusive to PS4.

lol, GOTY has mainly just become the new way to release a game with all the content on it. Pretty weird to name it GOTY when GOTY's havent even been given yet.

Dude don't be so butthurt....I bought the PS4 a long time ago and I have played it. I play the games I am interested in, not what some fanboy wants me to play. The next few months have nothing for me....that doesn't mean I am done with the PS4.

They do seem pretty confident but I think they have the right to be. The game is sitting at a 92 Metacritic score, it's bound to win some GOTY awards. At the very least from EDGE since they said it's the 4th best game of all time.

Lords of The Fallen got a GOTY edition and I don't think that game even won a single award. They should have called it The Old Hunters edition, which is the name of the Japanese GOTY edition.

Maybe this will help sales reach 2 million, Splatoon and Super Mario Maker have done passed it already and they released way later on smaller install bases, its a shame, but it is what it is i guess. This game needs a serious price drop. $25 i think would be awesome since its not selling at $35.

It already passed 2 million as of last month.

This release is nothing more than Sony's pathetic way of having something for the holidays even though the game isn't even a year old yet. It's smoke a mirrors to fool the masses into thinking they have a good holiday lineup. Any other company does this and cows would be having a bbq.
