@Couth_: yeah I am looking forward to that. Roguelikes are my favorite genre and having a bit of that in a souls game would be nice.

Is Deep Down confirmed to be Dragons Dogma online now?

I'm kinda hyped for this but the lady said the dungeons depend on your character and I always end up making the same-ish STR builds in souls.. wonder if that means i'll have the same dungeons every time lol. Because the dungeon is probably built to exploit your builds weaknesses i'm guessing

Nah, but what else could it be?

I dont really think this will be the case because in the end you could build a maxed out character.

@thegreatgeneral:

People don't max characters in souls though. They focus on particular stats/

EDIT: Just watched it again. She said it depends on the player not the character..Disregard that lol. She also said it's ever changing

I actually tried to max them out, lol.

My dark Souls character went up to level 500 or so.

I don't like the idea of procedural generated dungeons, but the game itself looks terrific.

It's a nice balance of staying within the Souls wheel house while actually doing something that looks fresh and different. Hopefully their next game after that is something out of the Souls styled wheelhouse, but for now I'll take it.

And just like that, Dark Souls 2 on PS4/XB1 became pointless lol

Its just one dungeon, the rest is of the world will be interconnected like dark souls 1 FYI.

"Procedurally generated dungeon" ?????????

So basically another Deep Down. Which by the way...............when the hell is that coming out? But nonetheless, two almost identical games.

Greatness doesn't have much variety these days............

She mentioned the short cut so i'm thinking it will still have the same genius map layout, with procedural generation in between the segments... IDK Just image your Undead Berg from Dark Souls. Still connected to Firelink Shrine and still learding to the boss on the bridge with a short cut back to the shrine, but the castle has a different layout every time or at the very least, different enemies are in a different place

That would be NEAT and a welcome next step for the series
