Blue Dragon Official Gamespot Hype Thread ( Currently AA ) Please Stcky.

This will be an awesome title i dont think it will be overlooked either but after seeing persona 3 get AA, this will get AA as well but both will be amazing games.

Well, I've heard the combat, controls, menus, and graphics are all very good. Is the story something that could bring the score down? How was the demo?Ibacai

From what i heard the story may bring it down.the demo in my opioin was very fun i really liked the customazation with my character and i loved the shadows, the music was brilliant, the graphics were so pretty and amazing as well.

I'm actually not a fan of these kinds of games but I played the demo just for the hell of it and it wasn'that bad for me. And I really don't like these kinds of guys... not saying I will buy it but I think people who like these kinds of games will love it probably

It might do pretty well it sold 300,000 in japan and if enchanted arms can sell 100,000 on the 360 in america i think this has a chance of 250,000-300,000 because of the dbz character look alikes and well its an rpg on the 360.

Blue dragon was supposed to be a system seller in japan so it did flop ms still has not reached their original goal (500k) or turned a profit on blue dragon. Not saying it's not a good game just that it's not selling is all.

Demo was good, high 8 like, I'd say definateley AA maybe AAA

I agree on the shadows,graphics and custumization comment but saying the music is brilliant.. i just can't accept that i haven't heard music this bad in a lot of time.

sakaguchis gola was 100,000 and it sold 300,000 so dont go around sayin thier goal was 500,000k.

I'm more interested in Eternal Sonata than Blue Dragon. The voices on the demo REALLY grated, whereas I found Eternal Sonata quite pleasant, and laid back. I think the combat system in Blue Dragon might be better though, it's more traditional and proven.

personally I thought the demo was not very good at all and I'll hype it AA - 8.0 but only because the graphics and music will bring up the score

Ive seen about 60 mins of the jp copy from start and the demo doesnt do the game much justice.
