I don't have a 360 right now but I am looking forward to Lost Odyssey. I would probably play Blue Dragon if I had one but this game doesn't look the least bit interesting to me.... might prove differently if I gave it a shot though.
Still, it's not exactly an rpg that I would be looking forward to. It didn't exactly receive critical acclaim in Japan either, lol... and that's who it was geared towards.
Funny, because that's the biggest reason I don't like the game... I don't like the art style. I said I'd give it a shot b/c the gameplay might actually be good, but I don't like the art style which makes me even less interested in the actual story.

no i'm someone who dished out over a thousand to play all the good games on all consoles. mass effect is definately gonna be the rpg to own this year, not those two.
I was very impressed with the latest Lost Odyssey video. It looks to be a super epic game, so if I had to choose, I'd pick it. However, I plan on getting both, and am looking forward to Blue Dragon a lot as well.

I say "new" but I meant more of a few months old. Though, I only saw it maybe a month or so back. Well after the TGS trailer. You can go to gametrailers and watch it there though.

Artoon for example coded Blue Dragon. However Mistwalker has total control over the game and everything to do wtih it. They basically just hired the people of Artoon to fill their ranks to get the game done. I honestly forget who they've had coding Lost Odyssey. And ofcourse Microsoft funds Mistwalker. So there you go.

Also, Uematsu (the musicial director of FF games) works on all Mistwalker games developing their musicial scores. Which would explain why they're so darn good.

Sakaguchi said he was doing a worldwide release of Lost Odyssey. To my knowledge that's the first time a JRPG has ever does this. It's certainly a big undertaking but he seemed confident that it'd happen last time he did an interview.

I thought the City look amazing. I definitely am digging the art style and design of LO. And yeah. I can't wait for the full combat system to be shown. However even if there was nothing more to it, the story looks to be good enough that I'd still buy the game.
never played either, the only JRPG I own on 360 is Infinite Undiscovery, I dont like the art style of BLazBlue, and IDK y I just neverbough lost oddysey sooo :P
But I DO love INfinite undiscovery, has nice cutscenes.
