I say both
but if I could only have one it would be HDDVD because of better studios and higher standards for quality
It's hard to say right now because not enough Blu-Ray/HD-DVD players are out in peoples home so sales of the movies aren't that spectacular. Once prices are $150 for a player we will see which format is the one to go with.
Also it seems that Blockbuster has went ahead and gone with Blu-Ray
blu ray=THE BEST
first of all.. because i like the blue cases more then the red cases
second of all.. because the name Blu-Ray sounds cooler then HD-DVD
i think i have given good enough facts.:P
dvd is still pretty good for osme movies i find it hard to tell witch looks better . 300 on blu ray looks pretty much the same on dvd as it does on blu ray.deadmeat59

Well HD-DVD is more self-explanatory than Blu-Ray is most people are like "wtf is blu-ray" But now more people are starting to get know what Blu-Ray really is but still more info needs to be put out there about Blu-Ray.
6 million Blu-ray players just from PS3 alone isn't enough!?It's hard to say right now because not enough Blu-Ray/HD-DVD players are out in peoples home so sales of the movies aren't that spectacular. Once prices are $150 for a player we will see which format is the one to go with.
