I don't even remember any of the boss fights in Bayonetta. The boss fights in God Of War were amazing though. I loved both games though.

I have not palyed Beyonetta so I cannot compare the two. But I have never seen a boss fight like the chronos battle. Tha battle is the definiton of epic. If you have not yet played God of War III, play it just to expirience the chronos battle.

GOW boss fights were far more epic and intense than Bayonetta.

I haven't played GOW 3, but Bayonetta's bosses are among the best boss battles ever, let alone this gen, i had so much fun and the soundtrack it's amazing, it truly has an epic feeling and the challenge is really good, like i said, haven't played GOW 3, but from what i've seen, Bayonetta's "worst" boss, can easily beat GOW 3's best boss in terms of fun.

GOW has epic boss fights. Bayonetta has "good" boss fights. GOW is the winner in this one, by a land slide.

I've only played the demo for Bayonetta, the boss fights were okay. It was mostly the combat which made the game fun. God of War III has some of the best boss fights in quite a while.

This.

GoW has that "epic" cinematic feel that makes it stand out.

I'd say GOW from what I've seen and heard. I got Bayonetta the other day, played twenty minutes and thought....wow, what the **** is going on ?

Haven't played Bayonetta yet but the boss fights so far in GoW3 (just finished Hades) have been insane.

Yeah, God of War wins this one. Bayonetta wins gameplay overall though.

Cronos and Poseidon was epic, epic like Hydra and Colossus, but other than them... last boss (like always with GoW games) was underwhelming.

The boss battles in the GOW games often give me erections from epic. So there's that.

Hades alone is probably one of the best boss battle experiences I played through this generation (not to mention the spectacle of Chronos and Poseidon). That being said I have never played the full version of Bayonetta.

I haven't played Bayonneta, but the final boss fights since the first GOW have been very underwhelming.

GoW of was had the best boss fight but Bayonetta was far more consistent in quality. GoW blew it's load in the begging.

God of war > Bayonetta

Beyonetta > God of war 2

Bayonetta >>>>>>>>>>> god of war 3.

god of war had some great boss battles, 2 dropped the ball in that regard and 3 is just hit the enemy a few times then a QTE pops up they relied too often on QTE in GOW3.

I say Bayonetta, if only because the boss fights are consistently huge and tough and fun. GoW3 has great bosses like Poseidon and Hades. but it also has lame bosses like Hermes and Zeus, and for all the hype on Cronos he's basically just a huge moving level.

Have not played Bayonetta so I didn't vote.

But God of War bosses in a nutshell (first boss) caution spoilers:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sS6U7pTrvs

God of War had some spectacular boss fights. And some of the best art direction/level design of any game ever.

why people think that God of war is comparable to bayonetta. GoW is a way more story-oriented and adventurish. as for the boss fights... you wanna compare the Brutal boss fights in GOw with bayonetta?? come on!!! she uses her hairas a weapon while Kratos uses his bare arms to oblitarate... this comparison is true blasphemy.

bayonetta is the better game, but the only memorable boss fight there was the last one, against Jubileus

While GoW3 has Cronos and Ha-Des. And in the earlier games, colossus of rhodes in GoW2 and Ares in the first GoW

While there must be said that Bayonetta had some epic finishers.

I can't speak for Bayonetta but the GOW games have always had impressive boss fights. Some of the best out there.

Don't forget Hercules and Hades. Both fights were simply amazing and while not as "epic" as the Chronos and Poseidon fights, I thought they were the best. Not to mention they got the two best voice actors in the game (Clancy Brown is the freakin man. And Kevin Sorbo voicing Hercules? That is just too awesome for words).

Wait Bayonetta had boss fights? All I battled was huge monsters with inflated healthbars that didnt put up more fight then a regular enemy, Which not only made most of the boss battles forgettable it made them feel like they drag on. GoW easily wins.

As much as I love bayo, the regular combat was way better than the boss fights.

I havn't finished gow3 yet so not going to give an opinion on that
