I can tell a lie. Vs hands down. The quality the style. And I can see it's a 4 player game or will have 4 main people in your party. Though I am upset that their is no gameplay show again.:evil:

wow I can't wait for FFXIII, the music and the setting is so wonderful, this and RE5 will own our souls next year and the whole gaming industry also, I can't freaking wait and people were hyping Killzone 2 *sigh*

And I really liked the shots of what I am assuming were the "bad guys" around the table-it reminded me of the Illuminati, and I'm a major sucker for anything pertaining to or similar to them :)

Versus actually looks a bit more interesting. I dunno why, but im expecting your typical FF experience with FFXIII, not that thats a bad thing, but Versus...you never know, it could be different! And the videos from versus make it seem like its a darker themed game.

yeah thats most likely, but we could always be surprised. I really want Versus to be good, it feels so much like the spiritual successor to FFVII, well the spiritual successor to the multiple successors of FFVII :P
Both look amazing! If i had to pick, id go with FFXIII though because i just cant wait. Ima buy both versions, PS3 which ill play through first and then the 360 version to get achievements and also give me a good excuse to play through it again:P But versus looks sweet too.

Im sure the PS3 version will have trophies which will probably have the same objectives as achievements :P I remember hearing somewhere that any game released after spring 2009 would be required to have trophies. Might have just been a rumor, but i think it was confirmed.

It doesn't take much time or man power to make a game trailer.. All those cutscenes in the trailer are going to be in the game anyway. It probably took one person to do both game trailers in fact.

I think your pretty much forgetting the fact that Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 are good games, no doubt KH3 will be announced soon. FF Versus 13 is not a spin off either it's a full game based round the mythology of the FF13 universe. FF Versus 13 has nothing to do with FF13 storyline wise.

It's not so much a spin off as it is a completely different game. It takes place in the same 'universe', meaning it will have the same powers such as magic effects and summons, but that's about it

looks like starwars to me. the final fantasy i remember as a kid seems to be gone, heh.
I think that FF XIII VS looks more interesting b/c it does not look like a fantasy setting at all... BUT the trailer still did not really show off much of anything, and it did not show any of the gameplay graphics. The cinematics look pretty cool though, and I like the darker tone... I think there's potential for me to end up liking this game more.
However, the cinematic portions of FF XIII are a lot more breathtaking and beautiful though. The colors & effects are wonderful. The small gameplay portion is a bit of a letdown from the cgi, but it still looks better than any rpg's so far this gen. Until I see more of Versus, I believe that FF XIII is the game that I'm looking forward to the most for now.
I think most cows will naturally say Versus, but FFXIII looks pretty sweet too.

Only one more final, though, and the break starts up (why I have a final on a Sunday is beyond me though). I probably will end up getting FFXIII, but only after it goes down in price somewhat. I feel that the Anime-ish character and creature design (especially for what I am assuming and hoping are non-major characters) doesn't really work very well with a more realistic graphical (not artistic, but graphical) styIe; I feel it would appeal to me more if it were cell-shaded. If Versus goes multiplat (unlikely, however), though, I will almost definitely be picking that up, as it intrigues me.
