bought lair to judge for my self

i'm about half way through the game.

what a retarded game.. they did about EVERYTHING WRONG (not just contols and level design)... how can such talented developers take such BAD decisions??

Have you got to the mission where you have to defend the mantas? Oh, wait, THAT'S WHAT ALL THE MISSIONS ARE ABOUT.

TO be more specific, the one where you have to defend both mantas and ships along an estuary in a thin valley. Yeah, it's not very specific, but I'd say this mission defines how bad the entire game is.

[One manta explodes]-WE'RE LOSING MANTAS

[One Ship Explodes]-WE LOST A SHIP

[Another manta explodes] WE LOST ANOTHER MANTA

[Another ship explodes] ALL IS LOST!!!!!!!

[I sit and wonder why all is lost when there are about ten billion mantas and ships are left, and then witness them all explode one by one for no reason whatsoever]

Ah yes, and this line of dialog pretty much sums up how bad the cutscenes are as well.
