Taken on a PC on the Endor map.

I'd be playing this if GMG didn't fubar their orders, which apparently people won't be getting Battlefront if they bought it on GMG tell the 19th.....
Finally a game that nails the Forest and trees 100%. Truly gifted artists at Dice and powerful game engine

At least we get a 30% off coupon. Oh well.
If Mon and Tues weren't my weekends/days off I wouldn't have cared, but seeing I have those days off made me salty XD
Also apparently they didn't run out of keys, they have to wait tell the 19th cause that's when it's released outside of NA (which Origin is the same way apparently). I just wanna see Star Wars in action with the frostbite engine, is that so much to ask? :/
The question is with the reviews pouring out is it actually good?
It's ... "meh" considering the prestige.
That same pretty map... is absolutely sh*itly designed.

Seems like the answer to that is yes.
What scares me is it seems a little thin on content, I want it but don't want to be let down :(
a very impressive looking game and hopefully a sign of things to come for the new mass effect (which is running on frostbite too as i understand it).
I cant think of a better looking one currently released at the moment.
every video i have seen has set the "next gen" flag off in the brain from a visuals standpoint..this is very clearly a large leap over anything produced on a PS3 or 360.
No single player, no "immersion", no thanks. I wanna feel like a Jedi or Sith. Not go random pew pew pew pew, move on pew pew pew. The solo mission is NOT good enough.
I have both previous Star Wars Battlefronts on o.g. Xbox and only played them both for only less than 2 hours total combined.
Nice graphics though. It's a shame, they've got the whole Star Wars atmospheric feel done right. But no SP story arc to go along with it. I don't mind MP, but I got a problem when games are released without SP.
SP first and then MP.
Better yet SP only and forget MP (Wolfenstein TNO comes to mind)
Got last night but will start playing today. I had to wake up early this morning so didn't want to dabble then be forced to cut myself off so early (or not get any sleep if I started playing and couldn't stop).
Surprisingly I saw it was getting average reviews but still wanted to play it. Some part of me realizes that bad marketing strategy of the season pass and gutted game shouldn't be rewarded... but hey, this is a Star Wars game, if there's anything worth making certain exceptions for it'll be this license. I know with Episode VII release looming that I'm going to get super psyched and probably break down and splurge on this game so I figure why delay the inevitable.
yeah this thing is stupidly good looking. But hey, this is how you attract your costumers. Star Wars brand+VERY pretty visual and everything else isn't important because it'll sell anyways.
Looks gorgeous, audio is great.... just a shame there is only what, 4 or 5 maps on launch? smh
13 maps over 4 planets.
People are quite a bit misinformed about this game due to all misinformation people were spreading early on about the game.
2 new maps on a new planet are coming in a free DLC with the movie next month. Only reason those are probably not out yet is because the movie isn't out yet.
No one should have been complaining about Battlefront's graphics, since they clearly worked on that the most.

I'll be honest. I'm not sure why the game is receiving so much hate outside of the season pass. I've seen people call it "boring." Have they played Walker Assault? I've also seen people talk about the lack of content that was on a BETA. No argument outside of the season pass makes any sense lol. With all that said, I agree with you. It's misinformation being spread from people who haven't even played the game imo.
EDIT; Also, this game is optimized pretty well for PC. It's running great on dual cores(g3258) paired with lower end cards like the 750 ti and 950.
I'm not really excited about this game or anything, but my brother in law is picking it up today and I might as well just to play with him...those that do have it (the full game)...is it at least fun?

The beta was fun enough. The game doesn't have any serious depth but it's still a lot of fun every once in awhile. It's not a replacement for something like Battlefield 4, Counter Strike GO, or Halo 5.

Honestly I don't play a lot of MP games these days, more into RPG's and other single player games. Just a lot of the stuff I'm reading is pretty negative regarding the game especially that it's extremely shallow.
Basically I wouldn't get this if it weren't for my brother-in-law...that being said I'd like it to be at least a decent fun game.

Its just kinda casual focused, its also very kid friendly so people are upset. The game is a solid game and will be enjoyed by anyone that wants to get into shooters but not go hardcore into it. Its not a bad game at all. Graphics look amazing, sounds are very nice, gameplay is solid. Its a good game. Its just not too much for hardcore competitive shooter fans.
