Soo, ya think the 360 Wii or PS3 would hold up as well ?

Would be even funnier if the gorilla pulled off a new high score on the kids DSI. :o

Anywho, just for fun. :P

The Story.

Boy drops DSi into gorilla enclosure, hilarity prevails photo

An idiot boy at San Francisco zoo sacrificed his DSi XL in the name of fun when he accidentally dropped it into a gorilla enclosure. As you can see from the above picture, this led to hilarity as one of the apes picked the machine up and proceeded to try and play with it.

After fiddling around with it, and getting some fortuitous photo poses out of the bargain, the gorilla lost interest and started bashing the DSi around. Eventually, a trainer got into the habitat and distracted the primate with an apple, whereupon he reclaimed the DSi and returned it to the boy.

The XL was still working after its ordeal, despite being beaten up and drooled on. It's good to know that Nintendo builds its systems to survive gorilla attacks. Lord knows we've all been in that situation.

Well the DS survived the gorilla attack, but not that surprising considering the GameBoy survived a goddam explosion! He just wanted to play some DK Jungle Climber.

DSs are suprisingly durable. My sister left hers out in a major thunderstorm in the yard overnight and it was just fine, it didn't even need dried out to turn on. And it still works fine to this day. And now they survive gorilla attacks.

maybe for the 3DS ninty add campaign should be something like "3d anywhere". 3DS in the arctic...down loos, the back of a sofa, the antartic, the sahara, gorrilla encloures, in the middle of a group of hippos and in warzones.

unfortunately the psp wouldn't last too long in a gorilla cage. The PSP go maybe, but then again, the gorilla would probably be like "Where's the fricken UMD drive?!" and smash it.

Great Article, on the other hand, i don't even want to know Nintendo's hardware tests to assure your console will survive the attack of a gorilla.

Amazing that the DS can hold up to that. When my DSL broke, Nintendo told me I had dropped it or hit it and refused to believe otherwise (despite not having used the damn thing until it broke). So I thought that Nintendo's products were no longer built up to Gamecube durability. But maybe I was wrong.

1. [insert Donkey Kong joke here]

2. Why the hell are you bringing a DS to the zoo? The whole point of going to the zoo is to see animals you wouldn't see anywhere else (for the most part) and now kids are bringing DS's to the zoo. Children these days..

3. I also want to say thanks to that child for delivering the lulz unintentionally.
